Many years later, the eShop closes and this and many games there can't be purchased anymore. (thankfully this one and it's sequel was ported to PC) Looking back in 2011 when I discovered this game on the 3DS eShop, I fell in love with the game's general vibe but... if I'm being honest I don't think I would've played this game if it wasn't for the soundtrack. Thank you Jake Kaufman, you've made a lot of WayForward games hit hard with their soundtracks. As a child this part (1:11) always hit me hard on the title screen and it still does even today. It makes me remember all the memories I've made with every living thing I encountered over the decade. Not much music makes me feel that which I find impressive. To those who've never played this game, please do. It's a great puzzle platformer that is great to spend 15-35 minutes on.

This track is a sour cream glazed donut I ate too fast! I want MOAR! Make a SEQUEL! Don't make me get all Super Kami Guru on you, WayForward, cuz I will!
This is one hardcore game! (well you be the judge of that) Great frame rate, fluent animations, very dark very beautiful color palette, kick ass soundtrack, and good puzzles :D 5/5 for me!
The theme is somewhat similar to the 2 previous Mighty games ( Mighty Flip Champs and Mighty Milky Way). The beginning of each title theme is a trademark of some sort for the Mighty games which would explain the different remixes.
Yeah, it's weird. Jake Kaufman is probably the first composer that sounds legit Japanese. I just discovered this guy and I'm going crazy listening to all these tracks. Shit is amazing.
Reminds me of Gunstar Heroes which makes me want to buy this game, even the gun holding stance reminds me of Blue from Gunstar Heroes which is awesome.
If you mention mighty switch force to someone, you will get one of three responses. 1) ? 2) It has good music. 3) minus8 (Most people would respond with ether the first or third one.)
At the beginning, you might as well sing along this little melody: "What time is iiiit? It's Adventure Tiiiime. With Finn and Jaaaake, And all their frieeends."
This game has one of the best soundtracks I've heard.
Truly
Siren as percussion break...
BRILLIANT!

Jake Kaufman is the REASON why all of Wayforward's games have stupendous music. Contra 4, Double Dragon Neon, and this.
AND Shantae
This is probably my favourite rendition of the "Mighty" theme. Can't get enough of that techno.
don´t say it
don´t think about it
don´t do it!!

I think you guys are both right. It looks like old 80's anime if Tartakovsky was to draw it imo.
Don't mind me, I'm just listening to one of the best video game OSTs ever made.
MIGHTY SWITCH FORCE!!!! :D
HYPER DRIVE EDTION ~

It wouldn't be so hype but the rest of the track drops out and then
WOO WOO
ok I'm a little hyped now
This is one hardcore game! (well you be the judge of that) Great frame rate, fluent animations, very dark very beautiful color palette, kick ass soundtrack, and good puzzles :D 5/5 for me!
This whole soundtrack is simply brilliant!. easily the best video game soundtrack of the year!.
The theme is somewhat similar to the 2 previous Mighty games ( Mighty Flip Champs and Mighty Milky Way). The beginning of each title theme is a trademark of some sort for the Mighty games which would explain the different remixes.
Which is why it was so satisfying to hear it culminate in Rescue Girl
I bought the game becuase of the soundtrack
No regrets.
Patty's helmet remind me of Megaman Model H's.
Oh, and cool music, like all of the Mighty series. Hope Jake keeps up the good work. ^^
I think she was inspired by him.
Yay! This game is spectacular. 😄
Actually it does kind of follow the east's anime art style.
The way they said it might be a bit rough around the edges but they are right.
First bit certainly does sound mighty.
Don't forget Shantae
Not to mention officer mode has some absolutely amazing redone tracks from switch force
wish this had a vocal version like the title screen from MSF!2/ rescue girl
Came here after hearing about the collection release for Switch.
MIGHTY SWITCH FORCE!
♫♫ I love the Music... My Ears are happy now ♫♫ :)
Yeah, it's weird. Jake Kaufman is probably the first composer that sounds legit Japanese. I just discovered this guy and I'm going crazy listening to all these tracks. Shit is amazing.
For your hype fire truck needs please see MSF2
looks like wayforward really knows how to soundtrack, the shantae games have phenominal ost too.
They have Jake Kaufman to thank for that. He makes awesome music, both for video games and original stuff.
What genre of music is this? I like it.
Wazzaa wazzaa.
Reminds me of Gunstar Heroes which makes me want to buy this game, even the gun holding stance reminds me of Blue from Gunstar Heroes which is awesome.
Patricia wagon for smash ultimate?
That siren is fucking eargasmic
This game is Epic
I kinda get that sense if this was a T.V. show it would crossover with O.K. KO
0:14 is my favorite part
SO DAMN CATCHY
Why no 1 hour version yet?
Heh, gotta love the siren drop.
Ngl she's pretty hot.
Thats way forward for ya
Patricia: Stop! In the name of the law!
Judge Dredd: Im the law!
I would say it resembles Genndy Tartakovsky's art style quite a bit.
Wayforward intro ♥♥♥
reminds me of rockman Zero... instant like D:
The music in this game reminds me of Guardian Heroes a bit.
I have it its so fun id give it a 10/10 (bought it today for discount)
Her full name is Patricia Wagon, aka Officer Wagon aka Patty.
In Mighty Switch Force 2011

At the beginning, you might as well sing along this little melody:
"What time is iiiit?
It's Adventure Tiiiime.
With Finn and Jaaaake,
And all their frieeends."
Git dat megaman vibe
Remix it with smash bros sandbag theme
Why isnt there a exrended version.
最高にcoolだ。
Thumpin.
Sounds a lot like Mighty milky way at the begginning
don't forget Mighty Flip Champs
wazzup
:D
Asian is a pretty broad term since Asia is the largest continent in the world.
So no.
No it's not an Asian art style.
Bruh I just came to this game idk what to do it's sticky and all over me help
im here to help
then shame on him!
His music is inspired by asian composers though.
patty wagon
I'm right though.
