The Virasat Art and Heritage Festival 2004, running from November 15 to November 26, provides a platform for people to experience the richness of art, culture, and music from renowned masters of classical music and dance.
Rekha Bharadwaj trained as a classical singer and later gravitated towards Ghazal and sufi music. Her first album, " Ishqa, Ishqa' where she teamed up with Gulzar, who penned the lyrics and her husband a versatile music composer Vishal Bhardwaj, was appreciated by all. She has lent a new meaning and idiom to Sufi music with her experiments with sound.
