Thank you, because I didn't know one bit about how to do initial set up of a computer, and I literally never did it before. I always thought it seemed like it would be so complicated, and I thought we would need some type of IT knowledge to do it. I didn't know how long it would take, either. I thought it might take some time to do. From this video, I see how much simpler it is to do than I thought it would be, and that most people could do it. Now I feel better about the possibility of setting up a computer, myself, in the future, if ever necessary. Thanks.
I need help its not showing where you can connect to the network you wanna connect bc when the snow started the power went out and the wifi wasnt working it didnt show what you want to connect to no more and thats where im stuck at how do i fix it please help me

Hello ESRepair, can you please help me with something? So, I just got a new laptop and I´m currently setting it up. I connected the charger and then press the power button, however, when it auto boot up, it remains on a dark screen that says (C:\>) in the top left-hand corner of the screen. I don´t know what to do haha.
It’s stuck on country/region and birthdate... I put United States then did the birthdate but the Next button isn’t highlighted for me to move on it’s still light blue in the right hand corner ... what do I do I can’t escape out of it or anything
You are stating the obvious, explaining what all the options mean which is useful for absolute beginners . However, most people coming here will be wanting to know pros and cons of each option. They will want advice on choosing the options.

It sounds as though it is booting to the command prompt. At the prompt type 'exit' then press enter.
