- Filmed on 26/09/2023. After a few years, it is time to head back onwards for the Great Western Mainline terminus station of London Paddington (Season 10 Episode 29)
Quite a few changes at what is now a quieter London Paddington for since the Elizabeth Line extension has been completed with now through trains to Abbey Wood, Shenfield and Heathrow. The main London Paddington station now only see's Great Western Railway and Heathrow Express.
Trains were heavily delayed due to a broken down train which was causing major delays but fortunately with just a cancelled service to Oxford. We got our timing right as we did manage to see one of a few GWR class 387 services to Cardiff Central.

I went there before on 03/11/2023 for my birthday but so many trains were cancelled due to the signalling system, Great Job Rick!
I used the Swansea Service Since that was the first train to come
Oh my!!! That's not good having signalling failure. This day, was unusual as there was a broken down train but did make it for a more interesting spotting session. Thanks very much Tommy :-)
Also, My Heathrow Express got cancelled it broke down
"I remember going to London" said Gordon "Do you know the place they call it King's Cross" "King's Cross" snorted the engine "London's Euston, Everybody knows that" "Rubbish" said Duck "London's Paddington, I know because I worked there". The engines were still arguing when the engine went away "Stupid thing" said Gordon "I've no patience" "Stupid yourself" huffed Duck " London's Paddington, do you hear?" "Stop arguing" interrupted James "You're making me tired. You both agreed on something" "What's that?" "London's not Euston" laughed James, Gordon rolled away still Grumbling.
