Very nice job on the install and the video. I really like the fact that you got right into the install without the 4 or 5 minute preamble a lot of TH-camrs do before any work starts. You are a great teacher and Kailey appears to be very comfortable with the task. I wish you both good luck with your channel. I am subscribed.

Really appreciate your comments. We're doing and filming projects much faster than I can edit and release them. Much more to come.

Had no idea that horn button covered the screws, nice job on the install!

I really like that steering wheel look. Where did you buy it from? I have a classic 66 mustang myself. Great video.

Thanks for the question - it's a Flashpower 121117-A00 15" Laminated Wood Steering Wheel. I put this and other part numbers in the video's description.
The '66 has always been my favorite year of Mustang - you have good taste!

would really like to hear how the car steered and handled after the steering box and column replaced..

Thanks for that good question. There was noticeable improvement; slop in the steering was mostly eliminated. What slop remains is in the old ball joints and control arm bushings which we have not yet replaced. We've been working on handling. Installing a straight monte carlo bar and export brace helped, and allowed us to have the car aligned, which helped more. The car is hampered by at least one frontal collision that wasn't properly repaired. To really fix it right requires major surgery and won't happen for a while. As-is, it handles predictably and is fun to drive. I filmed everything we did and will post videos.
