Thats what I like about the Foo Fighters.
They very much have their own sound no matter what kind of record they make (even their disco covers.) But you can still pick up inspirations. Whether that's intent or not.
It's really inspiring to listen to.

Foo Fighters success had nothing whatsoever to do with Nirvana's fame.. Dave really struggled to get Foos out of clubs & onto stages..
It certainly gave them the boost and publicity they needed, but if they weren't good, you couldn't cost on Nirvana's fame for long.

When Taylor is not on stage, he's just a passionate rock fan and really doesn't think of himself as the drummer of one of the greatest rock band right now. Inspiring chilled-out dude.

I get the feeling Taylor Hawkins wants to tell Dave to try something new with the music but they constantly bump heads about it because Dave is not willing to change.

Taylor lied in this interview. He's an Aquarius and needs change and I feel he wants change but Dave is the leader and refuses to change and continues to do the same boring things over and over again.
