Note: Spanist shared her experience with working on curly hair. She had many foreigner customers with really curly hair and she massaged and did all the treatments as usual. Except for hair drying part. Customer wanted natural drying like no blow dry. So that was the only difference she experienced I believe. Also she mentioned curly hair needs more hydration which makes this head spa perfect for them with so many treatments and massages. Scalp is all the same except if you have certain type of concern and need extra care. Massage is done on the scalp, not on the hair of course. So it's the same process for all hair types. If you wanna get massaged really well and hydrating treatments on your hair, give this place a visit and you will love it!
Japanese service is unreal. Not just polite, but it’s as if they have way too many extra people, so they had to start making up jobs. Why write a sign when you can hire a man stand there and point?
Please never stop making these videos, literally every other “similar” creator does not compare. Yours are the best and I’ve seen each one at least 3-5times
I totally agree!!! I love the consultation parts and hearing people speak Japanese. It’s so soothing. I am an American and I am multicultural so even hearing my mom speak her different languages it’s just soothing an amazing because it’s very different than the harsh American accents… I will admit even I am trying to work on fixing my voice a little bit!
Twix is so lovely. But, man, I think she could sleep through a tsunami, earthquake, typhoon, volcanic eruption and not even flinch. What a blessing to sleep so soundly. 😴
I would love to see someone do a curly girl hair routine on Twix's hair to see how it looks with a diffuser. It seems to have quite a bit of curl to it. She has such wonderful hair texture.
I saw a black girl get this done. If I remember correctly she did it with braids n her hair out. You’ll probably see her if you add “black girl” to the search.
I love the near weekly video releases. Ive been watching TWIX for 2 years now, seen every video at least twice, others I’ve lost count. The Japanese people with such soft speaking lulls me into such a deep sleep that I feel like I’m waking from a coma. 😂❤
As a person from a place where curly hair is common, the hair itself isn't dry, that's how curly hair feels because it isn't perfectly round, so doesn't lay flat and soft
That’s what I thought!😊Her hair looks like as if it wants to be curly😍I am curious how it would look after doing the curly girl method (like finger coiling, using curly hair products and so on). That changed so much for me and my hair became more and more curly over the time👩🏼🦱
I had a service similar to this done once and they blew dry and shook out my curls. I had to go use their bathroom to soak my hair in their sink after before I could leave. I have 3A/B hair.
@@lenag.8568there was a period of months when her hair was shorter and she seemed to really be working at keeping her natural curl. It was pretty! It’s probably hard to keep it up though when a lot of these services are used to serving clients with the straight hair that seems more common in the region.
@matthewwhitton2758 Put down the thesaurus. People in general are loud, especially among friends in casual settings. The difference is that Japanese people have a sense of respect and common decency due to high social expectations and they can exercise those senses when needed. We don't have them in the West, especially in America, which you seem to have lost touch about.
Japanese asmr is a whole other level of asmr 😴 Idk if it’s the language or just their calm nature but this asmr videos makes me more sleepy than any others
Everything about this treatment looked wonderful. The care, attention and professionalism of the spa therapist was excellent. I SO wish that head spas would arrive in the UK. I need to experience the luxury of one!
I had the absolute joy of coming here and experiencing a headspa myself after watching this video often. I visited Fukuoka and knew I had to book and appointment and it was so so so so relaxing and revitalizing. Not to mention just mentioning ASMR TWIX got me a discount. My hair feels incredible and I feel more relaxed than I have in months. Thank you for always sharing amazing locations and recommendations!!
It makes me want to go to Japan and get a headspa... It's definitely on my to-do list if I ever go to Japan. >,< Respect to the worker too! She did a great job!

@@Albert-Arthur-Wison225Well, yeah. No language sounds relaxing when it's being used to scream at each other. They mean when someone is talking _calmly_ they prefer listening to Japanese.

SO relaxing!!! I kept falling asleep, LOL!! Had to keep going back to see what I missed. So wish I could do this, I can't imagine how it feels to be that relaxed, such a good massage!!! 😊❤
You need to learn about “the curly girl method”. I love your ASMR, but i suffer seeing how janopesse hairdressers treat curly hair. You need to discover your true curls!
@@arantxaortiz2757actually, the comment above doesn't mention any influencer, just has pointed at a method that tries to explain how curly hair is different and should be taken care carefully. I'm the first one who thinks it requires so much time to accomplish all the steps, but most of the times people don't know how to respect curly hairstyles and I believe it's what it was expressed before on the comment. Twix hair looks so pretty, that's true, but the texture of her type of hair is that one, not necessarily dry, even more when her scalp is good. And in a lot of asmr videos curly hair is a little bit destroyed just because they follow the same routines without putting attention to the type.
@@arantxaortiz2757 I think I didn't express myself well in the comment. I'm not talking about hair care. I mean she has wavy hair and they always try to straighten it. She just should know how to get her natural wave and control de frizz. The curly method is not for having healthy hair, it only teaches you how to get your natural curl. It is evident that Twix's hair is very healthy and shiny.
Her hair is more leaning towards wavy than curly, but I agree with you that Japanese hairstylists could use more diverse methods to approach curly and wavy hair
I was going to post a comment to say the same thing. Proper curls are only revealed once you start the curly girl method. Twix's hair has that dried-out, wavey look that people with curly hair - who don't know they have curly hair - have. She's got great volume and shine, but it would be cool to see if she really does have curly hair!
You have curly hair Twix! Please do a curly hair treatment one day I would love to see how naturally curly it is. Your curls are in great condition, shiny and not frizzy. Curly hair always need extra moisture and gets dry easily.
my one question i have in every one of these videos is how often do they scrub/massage the back of the head? i see it sometimes, but it seems like the sides and top of the head are focused on the most so it always feels like that part is not massaged as much haha. would still love to go to a head spa one day
A majority of the time it's true most of the time when you go to a salon or spa they spend the most time focusing on the tops and sides of the scalp. mostly because it's the areas where most people accumulate the most oils and other buildup of product and dirt. It's usually the most oily in those areas because they border the face which tends to be more oily in general on most people as well as the ears producing oils all around and especially behind in the fold. People are more likely to touch the front and sides of their head during everyday wear as well (like putting hair behind the ear, scratching, playing with, and putting up for longer hair people.) I personally tend to get the most weighed down with oils after a day or two on the top of my head and behind my ears where the back of my head and neck tend to get dry and produce dandruff. So scrubbing the areas where it's not as exposed to everything I mentioned before wouldn't be productive. And it's also not as easily accessible by the person doing the massaging, but I do think we don't always see the masseuse's fingers moving to other areas thru someone's thicker hair like Twix's. Most professionals in self care industries like spas also tend to have a basic understanding of the nerves in the areas where they'll be working on a person. So they may try their best to use acupressure on certain areas that people carry the most tension. I do think this professional spent a good amount of time on all areas of the scalp and based off Twix falling asleep I'm sure that it felt amazing!
@@Nik-gc9vl wow I actually never thought about that before. I mostly mentioned it cause when I think about getting a massage, I think about the parts of my scalp that feel the most tense, and so the back of my head along with my neck seem to be the most tense for me. Didn’t think about the oils and stuff from the skin though! That’s so interesting
Even when I Visit my normal hair stylist I ALWAYS remind them that my hair grows a long way down my neck. I have been to some places where the hair is bone dry when I have sat up and have insisted it is rewashed.
I don’t think your hair is damaged, I just think you’re not combing it correctly. You have a beautiful curly/wavy hair. You should try the curly girl method 💕 btw your videos are the best thing 💕💕
Not necessarily, I have found most curl creams to be too heavy if your hair isn't super curly. Using enough gel was the real game changer for me, along with a good leave in
It would be so great if you could find out what each of the products the places you go use, and include it in the description or on the video with timestamps. It would be so helpful.
