5:45 be careful of your arrow nomenclature. The negative Chlorine is going to attack the Hydrogen attached to the OCH3 group, not the other way around :)
step 1 of the hydrolysis of glycoside has a mistake. During the protonation of the methoxyl group the arrow should go towards the hydrogen, not from. minor details but love the video.
I know you were just trying to save time by pre-drawing them, but tbh I could just read a book for that. I like these videos because its more steady and the drawing time gives time to process. Just my opinion, this kinda confused me more - felt rushed.

Thank you very much, this mechanism wasn't explicited in the books I had access to
Thanks a lot for the detailed mechanism, beautifully done!
So is this a redox reaction? I'm not seeing what's being reduced and what's being oxidized, but it's considered a reducing sugar.
So... This was simple...
I always have to listen to him at 2 speed
Thanks for the great video, really clarified a lot :)
Good job 👏👏👏👏👏....all these details in this short amount of time.? It becomes very easy if you are good with organic chemistry.
THANK YOUUUU
thx a lot

i wish that u teach us instead of our biochemistry doctor
Its funny how the best healers dont go to school. How is this video going to heal anybody?
This is one very confusing lecture can't you make it simple
please..improve your speaking skills...
