I suffered from sleep paralysis for over a decade. I would wake up, totally unable to move or speak... let alone yell for “Help”. During these events, I would see things... demonic entities. They would come into my room, get in my face, touch me, and scream at me. These events would last up to several minutes at a time. I seriously can’t even begin to tell you how deafening those screams were or just how completely terrifying those experiences grew to become. Each time it happened, I LITERALLY felt like I was going to die. At one point, the frequency of these events were so regular that I even began sincerely contemplating suicide on a nightly basis. I simply couldn’t bear the thought of falling asleep and being awakened to such extreme fear anymore. I would pray about it, but nothing changed... in fact, it only got worse. When you’re in the middle of one of these events, the only thing you can do is try to “wiggle” different parts of your body until you’re able to muster up enough strength/movement to collectively form a slow “rocking motion”. Once you’re able to drudge one up, you then have to focus all of your thoughts/energy solely on that motion until you’re finally able to “break free” or you’re at least able to create enough commotion to alert your pet or spouse (both have came to my rescue). Mind you, all of this is done while you’re completely encased in the worst possible fear you could ever imagine. Over time, I was eventually able to master this “rocking” technique and, most nights, I would be able to break myself free in less than a full minute... but, trust me, even a few seconds feels like an eternity when there’s a demon breathing down your neck. Some of you are probably wondering what all of this has to do with this song and why I’m writing a short-novel in the comment section. Well, I’m getting to that... so stay with me. About a year and a half ago I watched a TH-cam video about sleep paralysis. In the comment section, hundreds of people were recalling their personal encounters, at length... but several thumb swipes down, buried among countless fear-based testimonials, I saw a short comment that simply said: “Just speak Jesus”. I had recently distanced myself from The Father, so, at the time, I didn’t pay it much mind... plus when you’re paralyzed you can’t speak. I’ve tried countless times and it always sounds like dismally faint jibberish. So I dismissed the notion altogether. Little did I know, this seemingly insignificant 3 word comment was the answer to all of my prayers. Fast forward several months, and w/ a cpl more sleep paralysis “wiggle victories” under my belt... I fell asleep one night, only to wake up “stuck” yet again. It started off just like all the others... the loud noise, the demonic entities, full body paralysis, the whole nine. Time to initiate my mastered “Wiggle”!! But, for some reason, no matter what I did, I just couldn’t build up any lasting momentum. I would get sooo close only to lose all my strength and have to start the long agonizing process all over again. As the failed attempts piled up and the minutes ticked by, the screaming only got louder... and, subsequently, my fear and panic crescendoed with them. There was nothing I could do... I was simply too exhausted to try again. As I lay there completely helpless and w/ literal tears streaming down my face... I was ready to accept my fate. I didn’t know what giving up in that moment would mean, but I knew it wouldn’t be good. That’s when I heard a small voice from deep down in my ‘knower’ whispered, “Just speak Jesus”. Still half-skeptical, I gave it a shot... “J-j-Je-Je...”. But it was useless... ‘The Word’ wouldn’t come out. Then I heard the voice again... “Don’t stop!! Try harder, Joshua!!” So I did.... “J-j-j-j-j-Je-Je-Jes-Jesus”. It was soft, broken, and probably not even audible... but it was enough, because at that very moment, EVERY demonic spirit along w/ all of their screams [accusations] IMMEDIATELY disappeared. I was finally free!! In Jesus’ Name!! So yes... I SPEAK JESUS!! And so should you!! If anyone you know suffers from sleep paralysis please share my testimony with them. They won’t be able to thank you enough and God will get all the glory!! Amen!! 🙌🏼✝️🙌🏼
I have sleep paralysis every so often. But I’ve never seen anything. I think the things that are seen are created from our own fear of the situation. When ever it happens I just think to myself, not this again and I try to force myself to wake up (cause I’m stubborn) until my mind dreams up that I’ve gotten up and gone out of my bedroom then I realize nope I’m still back in my bed. and then I make the conscious decision to just relax and wait. I don’t ever let myself get scared though cause I remember it will be over in a little while and I think that’s why I’ve never seen anything.
Josua wellet: what can I say to you.. before you sleep, always pray to our Jesus ask him protection from evil.. then you must always read a bible, the word of God. Most and all the time pray to our Lord for his protection..

I can say now that I try my best each time to speak Jesus with my friends because I was a lost soul living on the streets in my addiction of drugs and alcohol and whatever pharmaceutical pill I can get my hands on and I can relate to this song and I cry with happiness because Jesus abides in me and I recently came back to the Lord back in July of 2019 and I'm fully dependent in God each day with my struggles of spiritual warfare that takes place in my mind but that's ok because I know that the enemy doesn't have a strong hold on me any longer and I'm on the right path and that is why I'm battling with Jesus in my life being victorious one battle at a time each day, I was lost but now I'm loved by the highest God of creation and he created in me a new heart....I also survived a open heart surgery that I needed because of a bacterial infection that was eating away at my valves, long story short, I'm a living testimony that God doesn't not give up on his children no matter what you been through or whatever sin you committed you are FORGIVEN and all you have to do is ask Jesus into your life and repent of your sins and ask him to take full control...don't ever believe the enemy when they put the thought in your head that your sins are to great to be forgiven because it ain't....were all forgiven because God gave his only begotten son to die on the cross for our sins and salvation... I died of a widow maker heart attack, 95% blockage and phumonia on top of this, flatlined 15 minutes. No pulse heart beat or breathing. Yet here i am, doctors cant explian why. I died of a widow maker heart attack, 95% blockage and phumonia on top of this, flatlined 15 minutes. No pulse heart beat or breathing. Yet here i am, doctors cant explian why.
