If you know a dentist ask them to save there drill bits for you. (They are used with one customer then thrown out.) They come in lots of sizes that are smaller than can be found elsewhere and most of them are carbide. (They will let you cut through that tap with your dremel and shake the rest of it out.) My favorite red dot right now is a Holosun with the acss vulcan Reticle. The 10 MOA chevron gives you a large aiming point that is fast to find and the sharp point lets it be more precise than even a small dot.
I've used Green Tick Tactical in North Carolina for optic cuts to glock and 1911 slides. Jesse does VERY good work, so exacting that you have to carefully fit the optic into the cut. I think I've shown you some of his work. I don't know if $95 0r $100 is cheap for an optic cut, but I love his work, he is very communicative, and is a veteran (from an era way different than us old farts). Hence the name green tick, which he had to explain to me. I will use his services until one of us croaks. Hope that helps. Pat
Another successful Tinkerized firearm; this one turned out exceptionally well. It's good to see you back.
Good to see you. Hadn’t seen you lately. Thanks for the video.
