I picked up the Groundworks palette this week. To be honest, I waited because I thought the colors were kind of ugly, but in the end, I decided to pick it up for the textures. I couldn't have been more wrong about the colors. I have light, cool, mature skin and they are all beautiful! No ashiness, so easy to use, and long lasting. I haven't used it for anything other than eye looks, and it's worth it just for that. Beautiful looks for the office by applying a crease color, slightly deepen the outer corner and then pop on a soft shimmer from I Need A Nude or Glam.
I love the groundwork palette. I’m still learning how to use the palm and get them to work for me, but I have learned that the rephr brushes are a must.
Good news! Natasha is a permanent shade, just in the usual white component! 🎉 I bought this after you raved about it for months and months as we have a very similar complexion and I love it more than I expected to! I’m 100% with you on the intensify stick, I use mine every time I do my make up, every time! And, Paradise Glow blush too! I feel like this comment is just ‘me too!’ 🤦🏼♀️ I really enjoyed this video as always, thank you! ❤
Natasha was in her original collection of I need a nude lipsticks. Some people have said they didn't think it was the same though, so would be interesting to swatch them both instore.
@@carolynlindenmayer3577 that’s interesting to know, thank you! I only have the My Dream version so maybe I’ll grab the other one next time to see if there’s any difference :)
I wish I could give you my intensifeyes stick I’ve never even opened it 😮 lol and how would you compare Victoria Beckhams Satin Kajal Liners over the Lisa Eldridge Seamless Glide Pencils?? I just tried Lisa Eldridges and they are heavenly! I will definitely have to try her lip gloss too 😁
I guessed your list. I might have been following you for a while 😂 I have heard a lot of creators with a professional background love the Danessa Myricks Groundwork palette. I do think you are wrong. It is not a boring palette at all. It is a workhorse but it is masterfully composed. It really can go anywhere on the face. It is very intimidating but very intuitive and very inspiring . I expect Groundwork II will be great for bringing more colour into play. Danessa really understands texture. I do hope refills are in the pipeline. Thank you for sharing
Ohh I love that you guessed it! haha You're right, its definitely not a boring palette. Her formulas are so impeccable. I am sooo excited to get my hands on Groundwork 2! 💗💗
I paused the video and have not watched yet but here are my guesses of what you’ve picked based on watching all of your videos (all!) VB eyeliners ND My Dream lip comb Gucci Liquid highlighter Givenchy Sheer Velvet lipstick Pat Velvet Liaison Pat IntensifEyes wand TF Rose Quartz quad Rabanne Mascara Rare Beauty Eye Primer CT setting spray Okay! I’m going to see how I did… I started out strong, but didn’t do as well as I thought I would! I should have known you’d say Groundworks and LE glosses. I knew you love those! None of them surprised me, but I’m mad at myself I didn’t include Groundworks and LE Glosses! I only got 3 right, but it should have been 5!
I have to be SOOOO careful to do any kind of spot concealing successfully, same issue! I only blend the edges, not the top of the blemish, don't put foundation directly on it and only powder with a brush. I'm just afraid of powder foundation looking crusty (dry skin).
The MUFE HD velvet powder foundation is one of my faves too, I use it on it's own as my daily foundation for work days, as I find powders quick and easy to apply for when I don't have time in the morning and easy to touch up. I am also using the sigma colour corrector duo, really great and lasts ages too! Concealer and eyeliner are products I can't live without either, the Natasha denona concealer is my favourite, I also like the Dior forever one
Love Victoria Beckman liners. I would like to add a black to my collection! Love the PM paradise glow blush. The fact that both you and I can use this blush speaks volumes. I just picked up two Lisa Eldridge lip glosses. They are so so nice. I would like to see more shades! I love the DM pallet I use it daily. It’s so versatile. Agreed love the pomade! I don’t think I’ll be picking up her new release. I don’t need anymore blush. However, Guerlain blush and lip oil has me intrigued.
I love absolutely love that both of us can use that blush! Just adds to my love for it. I'm glad you love the Lisa glosses too! I want to see more shades too. I'm eyeing those guerlain products too haha 💗💗
I was going to buy the pat mcgrath artistry wand after watching another video of yours but when I went to Sephora’s website it has so many bad reviews! I have Lisa E. Lip gloss in Affair too and it’s so beautiful. I feel no one talks about it.
How dare people give my beloved wand bad reviews haha Just kidding, different strokes for different folks but you will pry it from my cold dead hands hahaa And yes, the Lisa Affair gloss is impeccable 💗💗
Great video! ❤❤ will add the ND lipstick to my list. I am in love with Chanel blushes thanks to your reviews and the Tom Ford cream bronzer/highlighter duo, absolutely wow! Sadly the VB Kajal don't work for me, they are gorgeous smooth to put on but they run on me like crazy and I look like a raccoon in two mins and I have dry skin 😅 still searching for the perfect eye liner! How do the LE glosses compare to PMG? Also on my list now ❤❤
Oooo good list 🤩, my list would be : The tatcha silk canvas primers both formulas Makeup by Mario master prep and set compact Kosas cloud set powder Nars soft matte complete concealer Nars light reflecting eye brightener Charlotte Tilbury brow cheat pencil & pencil efills Charlotte Tilbury exaggereyes duo liner in black and champagne Persona cosmetics eyeliners in the shades graphite, stone, and brown Lisa Eldridge lipsticks and lip liners Pat mcgrath blush electric bloom - i blame you for this one … thank you 😆☺😉💕 Natasha Denona palettes: i need a nude, midi glam, mini my dream, mini glam
I have tried buying Pat McGrath IntensifEyes wand twice & had to send them both back because I couldn’t get the button to push the product up! I tried talking to customer service about it, but got no response. Do you have any suggestions or have you had this problem? I really wanted to use this product!
Tbh the majority of the people loved the Groundworks palette! I feel like it was just that one comment section, under the post for the new one, that was full of negativity about it 😅
I didnt like the DM pallete. The pomades weren't long wearing on the face. In the evening I would be left with nothing on my eyebrows, lips and contour if I used it there. A lot of the colors barely show up on my eyes as well, and the color selection was incredibly boring on me. Even for a neutral look I'd find myself adding some warm caramel and Taupe tones to spice it up for every day. It really is a "ground work' palette, as in I have to put more stuff on top to be happiest. But that's because of my skin tone. I can see why lighter skin tones and darker skintones than me could like it. If I purchased. it again, I prob would be more satisfied, knowing it was just an eyeshadow palette. My expectations would be lower.

Cannot agree with you more. It is truly a surprising palette. I'm so happy you love it! 💗💗
I would pick it up if it wasn’t made in China. If I’m not mistaken her entire brand is made in China, which is unfortunate.
Love the green eye makeup! Can’t wait for that video! 💚 I love makeup videos… you and Nikki LaRose are my two absolute favorites!!
Oh my gosh, I'm honoured to be in company with Nikki La Rose, thank you! 💗💗

Interesting!! Nars cream bronzer over shade and illuminate. I’m intrigued…

I also ordered a back up of the My Dream lipstick.😁 I wear it more in the cooler months when I’m fairer, but I’ve worn it a little this summer.
Hi Sweetheart. I'm with you, I love my Groundworks Palette. And I am so excited for Groundworks 2. Great video. xoxo

Intensifeyes stick all day every day. And for me, the Huda loose powder for setting my under eyes. Nothing else like it.

Oh I would so love to do that but unfortunately merit doesn't ship to Australia :( 💗💗
