I remember this tournament because it's the only BASS tournament I've ever went to watch. I wanted to see one of the fishermen compete at the time, Paul Elias. Paul had a few video's out which I rented over and over to watch and learn more about catching bass. I met him after the tournament and he signed his autograph for me. I'm going to have to do some checking around now because I think I took some pictures while I was there. Thanks for posting the video.

Sorry to hear about him late as I may be, but from this footage I'm sure your dad was an awesome guy. Really appreciate it! Lew's uploaded a vid on their channel that had Lew Childre in it fishing here in Alabama way back in the 70's that I thought was fun to watch just seeing where it was then vs now. Thanks again.
