totally underrated game indeed, playes the first by accident looking for a roguelite, realised it may surpass elite, nomansky, x series, and even star cotizen as the successor of freelancer
Looking forward to seeing this in game. Would love to see them add bubble effects trailing behind the ship, both from the thrusters vaporizing the water and from cavitation.
Ha, ha that shit is really cool isn´t it? I don´t want to spoil to much for you, but you will stumble across the Drake System and there is a questline that will eventually lead you to a very hot and a very watery planet 😀
@@centerkuantan6395 I think that is a Striker, medium class ship. The final version will have a full transmog system, which let you collect and switch between different wing, body and engine types. You can check out my latest news-video for more details on that.
Making a game engine, classes and methods/functions for the physics and everything involved in a simulated universe, along with a million more things versus an arcade game. You lack any brain cells.
So stupid and atleast they could implement the effect of the ship splashing into the water and the drag caused by the water while submerged and it's effects on maneuvering caused by it. But no just a gimmick and lazy way to implement it they couls atleast make it believable. And people are cheering on this? Gaming standarts really fell low nowadays.

That’s hype as hell because now it opens up the possibility of there being some crazy space-sea monster you can fight. Being able to dive underwater is always badass.
One can certainly disagree from a "realism"-standpoint, but I personally rather take a cool feature like this in an arcadi-looter-shooter over trying to be a simulation. I can totally understand your point, but I also think that it fits this kind of game very well.
@@wholesomegamer It's doesn't, it's disctracting. After I've seen this I can't think about everspace 2 without imagining starfighter submarine. It's like new Star Trek films with bastardized characters. It doesn't even matter if they fit with the story or not, it's wrong.

Everspace is good if you want action, if you want to blow stuff up etc.
NMS is great if you like walking simulators + the combat in that game is janky
