What is the name of an app for tuning trumpet?

I appreciate you putting this video together however I am confused. The first note you play sounds like a B-flat on a piano. Am I missing something? On your tuner it says C. My trumpet sounds the same way when I play C but like you, it sounds like B-flat. I am new to the trumpet world.

I believe the discrepancy is that a trumpet is a B-flat instrument whereas a piano is a C instrument. Every note will be a half-step lower. Could be wrong, so double check with someone else.

A note represented on the staff to be played on a Bb trumpet will sound a FULL step lower when played on a piano.
For example, a C played on a Bb trumpet sounds as a Bb on a piano, or on any other concert pitch, (non-transposing), instrument.
