I watch it like 3-4 times and finally I got it, this is the reverse video before the guy in the middle decided to "unmask" and run to cancel his "work" with the other guys.. the reason behind it.. was the text that he got back then.
This is really a complicated situation that wrapped up in only 1 min... what a great short movie!

If you don’t do it, you can undo it. He fast forwarded his life in reverse instead of ahead. He started at the end and went to the moment of decision. It was when he was breathless and crying after the thing he didn’t do that he realized he couldn’t do it. The message started him on his fast forward but in reverse journey of realization. His response? To take off the gangster persona and be himself freely. It could be a commercial advocating for non violence, non crime, non tough guy choices in life.

This one I didn't understand until reading the comments below. Quite interesting idea, though, to have the film play in the reverse of how the action happens. Have to keep this in mind for future projects!

We had everything timed so that the action was done in 18 seconds and then with the slow motion it could run normal. It forced us to do a series of recorded rehearsals that were then used to mark every second.
