I’m only seven minutes in but already know I’ll enjoy this. Episodes like this are why I fell in love with FG in the first place! Miss this kind of content
What an amazing conversation. May Allah bless you both. perhaps the title could be edited to also include something about the importance of sincere intentions and the importance of learning Arabic too, so it attracts more viewers to hear what Sheikh has to say about those topics aswell! so many gems dropped and so much beneficial advice here for past, present and future students of knowledge.
Please can you bring Shaykh Yahya Raaby on for some more episodes esp discussing advice for a young Muslim/muslimah going to uni and working in the west- self development and how to work on imaan during highs and lows and during a busy schedule Some more guests which would be good to get on the podcast: - Smileto jannah - Imam Asim (Al Hikam) - Ali Dawah/Muhammad Hijab - Musa Adnan The best bit about freshly grounded is the fact that every episode is different one episode u get some imaan boosting gems another episode it’s more lighthearted and uplifts the mood that’s why I enjoy listening to freshly grounded
Not Ali dawah please. With all due respect the brother has been dropped talkshows on his channel where he has allowed unnecessary free-mixing, with woman committing tabarruj and not observing the hijab correctly. May Allah guide him and us all
This hadith that says forgetting what you memorized of the Qur’an is a sin is weak Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The sins of my ummah were shown to me and there is no sin greater than that of a man who was given or was helped to memorize a soorah or an aayah of the Quran and then he forgot it.” This is a weak (da’eef) hadeeth which was classed as such by al-Bukhaari and al-Tirmidhi. See Takhreej Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh by al-Albaani, no. 720.
This would make a great part 2 with the sheikh!! Need a 2nd episode on this tbh. But just some advice from me, In Sha Allah it helps. ask yourself why am I doing this before you do anything! The answer always has to be for the sake of Allah first. If your answer was a worldly answer, think about how you can change your intentions to make them for Allah's sake. For example going to the gym so you can post your body on social media to show off your gains is wrong. But if you go to a halal gym area to look after the body Allah gave you, and do it because you want to be strong enough to keep praying 5times a day for the rest of your life, and so that you are strong enough to defend Islam if needed, then your intentions were for Allah's sake first. As far as I know, it is also fine to go to a halal gym setting to benefit your mental health. But if you want actual rewards, i believe you have to have a sincere intention for the sake of Allah. For example, it could be "I want to improve my mental health SO that my mind can focus more on Quran and studying the deen". - May Allah forgive me if anything in my explanation is not correct. Any mistakes i have made are from shaytaan and anything good I said is from Allah.
Thank you. Jazaak Allahu Khairan. Can you advise about using app, reciting Quran when women have their periods? It is not by heart. Your app is not like actual mushaff. If possible please advise. My apologies if this is not a proper channel to ask. Fee Aman Allah
As salaamu alaykom. The word MINA-shh (MINA) although in the Arabic language it would be translated as "from", yet to translate this sentence in English as I seek refuge in ALLAH from shaitan the outcast/accursed, is not the same meaning to what it means in Arabic, that translation would MEAN, I seek protection with ALLAH (by gaining it) from shaitan, rather a proper translation without losing the mening in translation would be, I seek refuge in ALLAH against shaitan the outcast.
