    I love them, but I am afraid that the writers make it wrong with their relationship... they deserved better.... more love, more complicity, more confidence , more lovely Scene between them not only sex... i dont know, we’ll have to wait for the S3 .

      It wasn’t just sex though lol. It only looks that way on the surface IMO. They made it clear Nadia would only do it with someone she loves and we already knew Guzman ❤️ her. They just haven’t said to 1 another yet.

      KamakaLo615 you're right, I know about their love, but even though it's implied. sometimes people need to say “I love you” face to face.
      If I remember correctly, they've never said i love you, yes, they know they care about each other. But.. I think they need to say it
      Guzman tells Nadia that he doesn't understand certain things, who makes it dizzy... and of course, if someone has back and forth, they can end up misinterpreting. I need them together, I dont want they split 💔
      I don't know, that's what I see, maybe I need to pay more attention to what's between the lines or between scenes.
      I'll wait for season 3 and see what happens.
      Sorry for my English, I’m Learning ✌🏼✌🏼

    Omar has been selling (and doing) drugs and has had sex with a boy, several times, left his family for that boy, but somehow THAT is ok for yall to be a “muslim rep” but when nadia, who’s had struggles finding her true self since season 1, is bad muslim rep for doing this she has in s2 her character is sooo misunderstood and dont say its not bc one is a boy in love with a boy and the other one a woman. It plays a huge role how yall look at women.

    Am I the only one who doesn’t mind that they had sex and it’s fine and it doesn’t change my opinion about their strong love and Nadias character. In my opinion sex just showed that they truly care for each other and that her love is so strong she’s willing to do anything for it. There could be more cute scenes and the fact he was kissing lu in between was weird but still I’m still in love with them two

    I rlly love this couple but it just makes me sad because it feels like the writers rlly don't know how to write Muslim characters without giving into stereotypes like Muslim girls hating their religion and being oppressed :/

    • @Jay-cy4js
      @Jay-cy4js 5 ปีที่แล้ว +234

      Shut the hell up ! They did not show her oppressed or hating her religion ! You can’t be Muslim unless a man tells you how exactly you do things ? There are many non conservatives/traditional . So tired of people like you . How did they show her oppressed or following stereotypes ! Uneducated ! you keep lying ! They showed the reality of some women ! Nadia is an individual not a group ! You are telling me there aren’t extremists in every religion ? You are telling me that there aren’t millions of culturally western Muslims ? You are telling me that there aren’t people of all religions fathers that pressure or force their kid ? How can you say Nadia is the stereotype ! The stereotype is a Muslim woman that hates the west , only follows , is submissive , living in a cultural bubble , just conservative/traditional like Nadia’s mother .

    • @Jay-cy4js
      @Jay-cy4js 5 ปีที่แล้ว +64

      call me oppa you are literally attacking Nadia for being culturally different than you and making her own decisions ! You are literally trying to silence others that aren’t conservative/traditional like you . You are trying to cover the truth and the story of this girl that yes many can relate to . You are twisting stuff just because you are mad that the stereotype and lie in your head isn’t being represented ! You are saying others are stereotyping , but it’s you that stereotypes and dictates what women like Nadia want , feel and experience . Does anybody say that Guzman is a stereotype or misrepresenting Christians ?

    • @Jay-cy4js
      @Jay-cy4js 5 ปีที่แล้ว +29

      call me oppa you are again lying . When did they show her hating her hijab ? They just don’t want to be forced and I’m glad that you know that this represents ALOT. Of Muslims in the west . You know that this isn’t the stereotype and you keep repeating yourself . The stereotype is Nadia’s mother . When is a Muslim women portrayed in the media as someone who rebels against all sides ? Nadia like many Muslim women rebelled against her family and other conservative/traditional Muslims that move people in the faith away and she also rebelled against people in school/public . Nadia said that she wanted to wear the hijab outside of school but in school and did not want to feel pressured by the parents . Many parents do force and your issue is that you want a Muslim woman who is pressured/forced and totally happy with that . People like you scare me . You don’t have an issue with how Nadia’s dad was portrayed and this can affect men and the highlight the co too some Muslim men use - but instead you are upset that people know that many Muslim women aren’t these foreign people and many are culturally western and apart of their country .
      Nadia leads to islamaphobia? Showing the story of a Spanish girl ? Your claims are just opinions and not facts ! The stereotype has never ever been someone like Nadia who wants to be religious but not conservative like her dad and someone who is not submissive but rebels against all the men in her life ( Muslim or non Muslim ) . This is relatable and many Muslim women have to rebel against all men . Also , you aren’t even right about the stereotype . The stereotype is someone like Nadia’s mother and even though she’s conservative/traditional and not raising any issue - people when they see her never rebelling about any issue and not apart of the country - they see her as un relatable and SUBMISSIVE ! That’s what leads to islamaphobia , they see her as submissive and not alienated culturally in another country and Having no issue . So they disagree with that . Many know that women in Suadi Arabia aren’t against their parents - but they still don’t agree this . You are the stereotype of Muslim women ! You don’t have a problem. With Nadia’s father or her brother , but her showing her hair is all your anger and what what many people like you only know faith for ! Nadia was never portrayed as not wanting to be Muslim ! She was portrayed as not wanting to be Muslim on her fathers terms and even the public’s - this is very accurate for many and not only in the west but in Syria , Lebnaon , Turkey, Albania , Iran and some in Suadi Arabia that have this in their heart etc . Your problem is when a woman like Nadia rebels against being forced and exposing some men - this is what you are scared of people seeing ? Not the fact that many women are forced ? Maybe If her dad did not control her , she wouldn’t rebel . The Muslim female stereotype has always been never doing against parents , husband and always submissive .
      Lol funny that your issue is you don’t want her against her dad . Well then Nadia is showing how many women feel , you may look at these women and think they are happily following others - but many in their heart rebel and don’t want to follow . This actually makes Nadia relatable to western Muslims non Muslims and make sher relatable to Muslims in even Muslim majority country that “ hey , I’m not the stereotype that Muslims and non Muslims have of me , I’m not submissive and I don’t want my dad dictating conservative culture on me “.

    • @Jay-cy4js
      @Jay-cy4js 5 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Also , did you not see what the stereotype that lu had of Nadia ? This is the reality ! “ you hate the western and don’t have anything in common with western culture “ . Western isn’t just white or Christian . Nadia proved that she is like many Muslims western influenced, doesn’t hate her country , and showed the people at school and her father that she’s not submissive - but she won’t stop being Muslim because of the public , at the same time she won’t stop being Spanish/western because of her father . According to a poll - American Muslims and even French Muslims identified with their current country above roots and a poll showed that more American Muslims felt like they could connect non Muslims in America than Muslims in the Middle East . You are wrong all together about what people think about Muslims and that’s why your argument is inaccurate . Your whole issue is that non conservatives and the non traditional people that do have a culture like the west are attacked and silenced . Because you are conservative/traditional ... you don’t identify with the west as home and always out to show the west that you only are happy with another culture always and the pressure is all okay with you . so when you witness a non conservative/traditional that is western and not living up to the conservative ways , disagreeing with the conservative traditional way and showing they Muslim women aren’t submissive and they have to battle all sides , this reality makes you mad . Your issue is you are angry and denying reality - because many are different to you .
      Your issue isn’t regular Muslims in the west , the issue you care about is you feel your conservatism that you force on others is being attacked. In many Muslim majority countries the roles are like Nadia and in turkey they know that many do experience this , they don’t think that this is an attack on all Muslims . They think this is showing the woman , humanising her , relating to her and showing that there are people in all religions that force people , but the woman isn’t against religion . She’s against all people that force her and she wants to be faithful the way she wants - without violence or force . And that someone can be modern and can be apart of segments of the mainstream culture with others . That you can be Muslim and don’t have to be on an alienated cultural bubble in the west or turkey . MANY PEOPLE ddifferentiate between CULTURE AND RELIGION! They showed Nadia regretting what she was feeling pressured by everyone

    • @Jay-cy4js

      - [x] stop saying they showed her partying and drinking to feel liberated. She apologised to her dad at the end and felt bad and broke up with Guzman . They did show Nadia proudly Muslim . Even at the party she proudly said she was Muslim ! The writer said that she only was at the party to pretend like she was taking drugs to make Guzman stop taking drugs ! She tried to stop Guzman from doing those stuff ! But your issue is you want her to not only be a proud Muslim - but a Muslim that’s conservative/traditional and exactly like you ! This has nothing to do with a western plot lol ! The actress who has similar roots to Nadia ain’t like that and Millions of Muslims aren’t like that at all. You want to take Nadia’s agency away and so many other women and determine who these women really are and what they really want . They showed her wanting to be Muslim , but feeling pressured to be the type that her dad wants . Are you telling me this out of reality or the out of the ordinary ? Are you actually me this doesn’t represent a lot of women ?😂 . Terrortsts and extremists want to say that people are only Muslim on my terms and attack if they are Muslim in a different way or if they feel a sense of belonging to the western home and usually regular Muslims reply “ many Muslims are Muslim and different than each other and we don’t want extremists dictating the religion and we want to be OUR INDIVidual relatable humans and with a personal life , culture and problems that don’t just relate all to religion and one conservative/traditional version” . The show show gives an example that in every religion/race etc .. there are different types of people and you can’t generalise . It also - whether you agree or disagree that many regular people oppose people of all colours/religion forcing their way and taking stuff to the extreme in actions. You have a double standard for women . That’s the stereotype Lol - not Nadia . Wanting to kill gays is another stereotype and they actually tacked this issue in an interesting way

    Honestly, they did Nadia and Nuzman dirty this season. They're making Nadia a "pathetic woman." I love her so much but whatever she's doing is not even related to her being Muslim. And if it isn't so bad, I want her to be the one proving the lengths she could go just to prove how much she loves Guzman because we know our boy has been doing for 2 seasons. Guzman almost gave up on her before that locker room scene. I want better writing for Nadia's character. 😤

I mean every time he’s tried to talk to lu, she just changed the subject on him. He at least finally broke up her. I mean Lu was acting little pathetic trying to convince him to not end it. "caballero" şovalye Guzman'ın türbanlı kıza çakması ve bakireliğini bozması sizin tüm bastırılmış fantezilerinizi dile getirdi değil mi minik türbancıklar hoşunuza oldukça gitmiş anlaşılan.
      Az hidayet sahibi olsanız, burada oryantalizmin ve ''bastırılmış ateşli kapalı müslüman kız'' fantezisi kalıbın olduğu gibi dile getirilişi, yapımcıların müslümanları aslında bilinçaltı kötü ışıkta gösterdiklerini anlardınız. Yapımcıların amacı buydu zaten. İlk sezonda mahsustan muhafazakar davranan Nadia nedense mücadele vermeyip, türbanı neden çıkardığını söylemiyor ve sevgisinin cinsel ''hornyness'' duyguları ile karma karışık halini sergiliyor. Tam bir yeni şeyler denemeye çalışan, nefsine hakim olamayan Çılgın liseli klişesi.

      Watch Skam, you'll enjoy the Muslim characters there. This show is about growth for the characters, Nadia was never supposed to remain judgemental and to only live for her parents. During season 1, Marina told Nadia to stop living for her parents and to experiment with life. Nadia is deciding what she wants out of life and doesn't know what that is yet, leave her be.

Also its annoying to see how they made it seem like Nadia hated he religion. The writers were just giving into stereotypes of us Muslim women and how we are "oppressed" and not free. there are many ignorant kids who watch this show and believe what they see and think that Islam is a bad religion or smth.
    Btw Muslim women are allowed to and are very free to fall in love.

      clara capiluppi yes actually since u dont know our religion or how it is in depth falling in love is totally okay nothing is wrong with that in our religion so please don’t act like u know what your talking about. this is exactly like christianity every person practices it in a different way, some people think that it is ok while others think that it’s not so you can’t judge a whole religion based on how one person is practicing it just because it is the name of Islam instead of Christianity or any other religion you tend to judge us more even though in some aspects it’s the same thing in terms in terms of practicing it

    I don't know why people whenever hear the word "muslim" especially for a muslim girl they expect us to be so perfect so religious, well let me enlighten you : we are not perfect muslims and to be honest no one knows what is it like to be one. We are human being we sin, we experiment and we have desires. I, myself speaking as a muslim woman did a lot of things that are considered a sin in my religion and a shame in my country but i dont regret anything because if it werent for those things I did I would've not been this much mature as I am now. This is life and none of us is perfect.

    My guess:
    I feel that season 3 is going to be a mess. They may not be together for a lot of it. Season 1 was her feeling constricted by the high standards in her family while starting to feel new things. Season 2 was her letting loose(literally taking her hair down), and taking a step toward what she felt was her happiness. This includes a lot in the season, not just Guzman and the partying but also her friendship with Valencio. She branched out from herself and I'm afraid the end is a 2 steps forward 5 steps backward situation. So now I think that season 3 is going to be her reeling back from her actions. She's may end up renouncing her emotions and her actions, and she is really going to have to come to terms with herself, her being, her heart, her religion, her family and all her relationships before she'll finally be happy.

    I swear all the english speaking fans of Élite are so over dramatic and make a big deal about everything the comments are so sensitive and UGHH If they made Nadia seem oppressed MAYBE it was because the CHARACTER NADIA was supposed to actually be like that. They make the characters and scenes how they are for a reason. All I see are comments complaing about all the stuff she does as a Muslim girl and how it's bad. Yeah I'm pretty sure that part was on purpose the writers don't have to be insulted just because isn't the most innocent and naive Muslim girl and about the sex scenes and saying how that doesn't show love and shit clearly in this show it does. She risked everything to have that moment with Guzman She literally had a conversation with a character saying how she was a virgin because she wanted to wait to do it with some she loved. That someone was Guzman because she did it with him. He truly loves her too he admitted to it, broke up with his girlfriend and even told Nadia that if talking with her parents would allow them to be together he would do it. It really looks like most people in these comments haven't seen the show because lots of these comments are very uninformed. My point is don't hate on a show just because something from it don't go how you think it should or just because you disagree. Everything that happened was done on purpose not necessarily feeding into the stereotypes.

      How many times have they had sex and how many times have we seen them showing that they care about each other? How does anyone come to the conclusion that their relationship is only about sex looking at where they started and where they are now? Do you think Nadia doing everything Guzman was doing at the club was not her showing that she cared about him and knowing that because he also cared about her he would stop being self-destructive because he didn't want her to hurt herself? Do you think he being concerned about her when he found out her father was in the hospital was about sex? It's like some of you need to be explained every single behavior like a child because you lack the ability to look deeper into people's behaviour.

    To all the people saying this doesn’t portray hijab right, I live in a mostly muslim country. I don’t wear a hijab but I know a lot of girls that do. And I have to say not all of them like it. It’s not uncommon that the girl only wears it because of her family. Because she’s scared of their reaction. Ad they usually hate religion because of that. They don’t act like muslims because it is not liberating to them which is not what religion is supposed to make you feel.
    I have seen a lot of girls beg their parents to let them stop wearing it. The ones that stopped all happier now.
    So, no matter how much you wanted Nadia to keep wearing that hijab she didn’t want it. And that doesn’t make her less of a muslim. If she hated it and carried on wearing it it wouldn’t mean anything in front of Allah
    . I don’t think this show represents hijab wrong. I think it is actually really accurate. Just because it’s not perfect doesn’t mean it’s not real. Thank you.

    I really like Nadia, she's smart, ambitious and very showy. She never promised Guzman anything, she always told him: you are here and I am there. You are night, I am day, family, religion, distance....., etc. She already has her priorities, she knows what she wants, and Guzman is clearly not in first or even second place. The entire initiative came from Guzman. And as soon as he turned his full attention to the other girl, their couple broke up. It was like he was waiting for them to break up, well, when she got tired of skype chatting with him......... He quickly switched to Ari, not feeling much heartache over Nadia. He was jealous of Samuel and even killed her because of her! What about his confession to Nadia? You are the love of my life!!!? He couldn't carry that burden, it was too heavy. This story of their love is of course beautiful and romantic, but they are from different worlds, with completely different goals and plans for life, so to separate in the end, but leave good memories of each other, would probably be the most logical conclusion to their relationship.

But now I wonder if he was ever worth it
