  • Mark gives a brief but powerful affirmation of the resurrection of Jesus. In doing so, he leaves the reader with the most important question any person will ever face, whether to flee from Christ in fear, or to come to Christ in faith. The woman at the center of this story, who fled in fear, would of course eventually come to faith in their risen Lord. Mark hopes that all who read his words will come to the same conviction.

I see a picture of a lion with the title 'The Gospel of Mark'. According to the revelation that is associated with the gospel of Matthew and Mark with the ox. The 7 seals.

There was a high Sabbath on Wednesday starting tuesday evening to wednesday evening. They were to take his body wednesday evening so according to law the land wouldn't be polluted with his cursed body. There was a sabbath friday evening to saturday evening.

Why do you waste your time watching these videos? You seem to know everything. Perhaps with your vast knowledge, you should start your own channel. Actually, it is intuitively obvious, that your "gift" is being critical about as much as possible. I have read many of your comments and they are not helpful at all. Try to pray about your critical spirit.
Bruce is an extraordinary teacher. He isn't perfect but he is doing this for those who want to be challenged and learn. I don't agree with a few things, but that doesn't mean that he is not exceedingly worth listening to. Have a great day.

@@joeiiiful you read in the law it tells you why it was it was necessary why it was they taken him down.
Deut 21:23-24. It explains. I just like to commit. Sometimes they don't explain the full details for some reason , they want to tell the top layer.

Jesus wasn't a nazarite but a Nazarene, he may have been a symbolic of that but if you read the laws of it you will he wasn't.

I quite agree. Jesus not only made wine, he drank it, which was forbidden to a Nazarite. The parallel between Jesus and the Nazarite Samson, the 'strong man' of the Old Testament, appears to be Mark's purpose in the way he uses the term (cf. Edwards, James: The Gospel of Mark, Eerdmans)
