I was here to watch UI Goku, but that part was the most hype for me. SSJ Goku is a completely honest character without as many tools as the rest of the cast, but god damn can Go1 make him look S+++

I love all the amount of teleporting between a mirror match with these two, it’s hilariously cool. Although I wish that we could see more of the just walking forward “parry” when the UI vs Ssj goku were just sharing ki blasts
U know sometimes its easy to forget that the 2m was all they nerfed for ssj... He still plays mostly the same and he's still making comebacks.. His 2m is just a little slower💀 it's probably mostly assist changes which allow people to broaden out more are the cause for his major fall from grace.
the EX changes also don't do much for him, meanwhile the rest of the cast for the most part benefited greatly from it. he's not much worse, the rest of the cast just got way better
No... His 2M being slower makes his blockstrings worse, ruins some of his combos in sparking, and is wierd to use in neutral. It hurt him quite a bit. The only thing he really has going for him now is Kamehameha

I thought UI Goku's anti-projectile walk was gimmicky but seeing this made me remember top level players use jump back ki blasts to fish out vanish confirms all the time, which seems to be the perfect counter to this strategy
@@oosaga7155 first: it isn't the only strong tool he as, at all. second: it's fine if he stays the way he is. UI Goku being top tier sits perfectly well with fans, as he is op only when you study really hard all of the possibilities for combos and the various tools he has.

Really hope GO1 adds UIGoku to his Bardock and Trunks shell. And after watching this, there is no doubt that he would still be rocking SSJGOKU as anchor if they didn't nerf his 2m into oblivion.
