- Ronnie Wood and Slash talk about Michael Jackson. Slash reminisces about meeting Michael for the first time with Brooke Shields, and collaborating with him on the 1991 'Dangerous' album, where Slash played lead guitar on 'Give In To Me' and 'Black Or White'.
This clip is taken from The Ronnie Wood Show, an award-winning TV series first broadcast on Sky Arts. Every episode features top artists joining Ronnie for impromptu jamming, lively chat and reminiscing about the wild days of rock'n'roll.
Can they see each other?!
hahahahahahahahaaa XD
best comment ever...
all the real cool guys keep it indirect, you’re just puttin’ it out there and harshin’ no mellows.😎
lol brilliant!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
MJ Feat. Slash:
Black or White - Dangerous
Give into Me - Dangerous
D.S. - History
Morphine - Blood on the Dance Floor
Privacy - Invincible
It is not him playing on Privacy, as far as i know and altough Mike screamed out 'Slash' before guitar solo.
Great conversation. Glad to see this. Thanx.
I think its called dangerous is what its called... dangerous is it? wow :p
I actually wouldn't know myself.
How dark does the room have to be before Ronnie takes off his sunglasses?
MJ and Brooke Shields dated around Thriller, not Dangerous. Rock star drug memories.
Even around dangerous coz even mj said it when interviewed by Oprah in 1993
they dated in the 80s and 90s .. there are pictures all over the internet dude
This show is really the dog's bollocks. Is it only on in the UK?
Michael?🙄🌻🖤✨✨✌️
I don't think Michaeel Jacson did a album call Dangerous, he is wrong.
Yes he had an album called dangerous released in 1991 with the songs like
Remember the time
Black or white
Give in to me
Jam
Heal the world
In the closet
Who is it
Dangerous and so many
@@nalukubafatuma2900 I don't even know those songs, I think it was a failure.
@@aaronsoto9100 then ur just lying if u say u never heard of heal the world or black or white coz those two are almost everywhere you turn u hear them especially during this pandemic their more used
U just pretend, and the album never was a failure neither the songs
@@nalukubafatuma2900 so just because you leave in the MJ bubble, doesn't mean the rest of the world does too, in fact, in 2020 the new generation hardly knows who's Michael Jackson, yes is a hit to your ego fanatics, but even a old washed star from the 80s like Madonna is selling more albums now then Mj, todays no one is giving one cent for Mj music
.
@@aaronsoto9100 so now u want a dead man to sell more than alive artist🤔ok coz l don't know ur problem now
2 legends talking about another legend
psycho8198 and this is called respect!
Except one was legendary for all the wrong reasons.
"Hey Slash"
Hi
Slash has a very laid back and cool voice. Nice and relaxed. I like to hear him talk. He’s a cool guy.
'Give In To Me' is a great song.
i love " give in to me " ..... amazing song .... and black and white
Give in to me is pure masterpiece!!! What a collaboration of those two, just perfection!
ronnie wood is so fucking cool ! love this interview
You can tell Slash wants to talk more about MJ but he senses he doesn't have a very appreciative audience, so he's trying to be cool and dismissive. Just being in MJ's presence was a life changing experience but saying that would not sound cool.
globalcitizenn you know what I felt the same. love slash tho.
Exactly. The Stones have always been up their own arses.
Slash talked about MJ so many times, it was the opposite of life changing experience for him. He actually said that he mocked MJ on stage. MJ fanatics stop trying to make MJ a god type of figure.
@@jamesha175 No, wrong, he actually need it to hire him to get some street credit with the rock crowd, like he did with Eddie Van Halen. BTW Eddie say he never got paid for Beat it. FACT.
@@jamesha175 no one worked as a favor on Thriller, Eddie Van Halen and even legend Vincent Price had talk about it many times, Price never got paid for his famous rap, MJ din't answer his calls. FACT. Read a art history book or real journalism, not MJ press releases.
to the not so nice comments they say ignorance is bliss
My favorite MJ song. He should have released it in te states. Such a sexy song
Jenni Boo He didn't?

This is what I call documentary!!!
"Harmless." I like that. Because it was true. RIP.
Why's Slash pretending not to know the title of Dangerous... come on.. that's just lame.....
Because he was off his tits at the time...?
@@SwingRiots hahaha
Maybe he doesn't remember? He was high on drugs and alcohol most of the time, so everything was a blur lol.
Many musicians don't even remember the name of their own music like John Lennon, not to mention the artists he collaborate with, plus Slash was on drugs and alcohol, that's normal
Actually it's called "BREAKING MJ FANATICS BUBBLE!' many people don't know MJ songs, albums and personal stuff. Slash was a multi million seller super star when Mj call him, do you think he care, like you care? NO!
Slash solo on D.S Michael Jackson is very amazing bro
"hey slash.." HAHAHAHHA
Cool interview...
'Harmless'. Sure about that Ronnie?
Yes, amazing
Both of them 😍
Black or white riff from Soul Survivor
Shields and Jackson new each other as far back as the 70's when they were teenagers
probably not since brooke was only 7 when jackson was 15.
They knew each other around 1980 onwards. She was one of the loves of his life. Other two being Diana Ross and Lisa Presley. He actually asked Brooke to marry him. She kept the ring but said no. It was a beautiful ring, an enormous diamond solitaire.
Big inspiration in the music world you all are. Thank you KEITH for letting us walk through this dope, peace and love Mary ( Maria)
Has anyone ever noticed that Jackson's Black and White which Slash played on is Keith's intoduction to 2 Stones songs. Soul Survivor of Exile and Must Be Hell off Undercover?
Actually Slash plays the intro of Black or White not the song.
Im not a fan of mj but they seem to have personal feelings against saying how good he wss or is. I personally prefer elvis presley but i dont knock othrr artists. Even elvis said tgeres room for everyone
What about the time he played on stage with Michael and Michael got mad at him because Slash wouldn’t stop playing his long guitar solo??? It’s on TH-cam. So is that staged??
Wonderful !! Thank you so much !!!
If you have never seen the clip of Slash on stage with MJ playing a solo, and having so much fun, he ignores Michael, and pisses him off, well, it's a must see for any Slash fan. Simply epic!
it was planned that way lol
It was part of the act lol
It was an act.
Part of the show guy lol
You're so gullible. It was intentional, duh!
Yup. I'm hooked Ronnie.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Without the songs it's a shame , really nearly outstanding, but we can't hear the tunes. Love you anyway Man, hope opr your well m8 :)

Anyone have a link to the entire interview? All I can find is just snippets.
That’s cool
👏🏽🌹👏🏽🌹👏🏽🌹👏🏽
'Black Or White' was good....'Give In To Me' was pretty average.
It's one of my favourite songs to play on guitar. It's a great song.
Give in to me is one of his best songs imo, a passionate vocal rendition, Dream theatre sampled it for Endless sacrifice
Speechless
RIGHT ON.
Ronnie what do your barefeet look like?
He has hooves. Saw him at the beach.
"Ronnie Wood and Slash on Michael Jackson" necrophilia ? !!!!
if one were to assume what kind of sexual activity Slash was into based on his IG, that kink couldn’t be ruled out actually.
U sicko
2:25 SLash: "amazin to work on stage with him"..... Ronnie:"yeah.. I play with the stones"
gaspalermo Who cares about the Stones outside the White world
@@globalcitizenn let me answer: I think everybody that likes rock music in general...thats more colors than just white. :)
@@globalcitizenn Haha, spot on. Michael was a genius. The Stones just very good at copying black music and selling it to the whites. I remember seeing Ronnie on my way to work.
globalcitizenn Mj was , is , will be the best artist ever lived. Who’s stones? Ask to the yong people today’s and then ask about MJ. MJ will live forever.
@@globalcitizenn fu#@ you for bringing colour into this u chimp
Michael and Brooke shields.. okay
What?
I wonder if Brooke Shields was unwittingly bearding for Michael Jackson, or if she knew...
slash can play anything, he's the best. love ronnie to . but slash'new album w different artist's is great !!!
i doubt if he can play a bagpipe.
Dating? Um yea sure. Ok.
he was dating her even back in the 80s
He asked her to marry him.

The Velo In The Vale unless you believe in tabloid lies
There are many former 9 yr old boys who spent way more time with him than Wade & James and they say LN is BS, so.
Seriously shut the fuck up.
Shut up. DO some research.
"Harmless"??
Unless you were a young boy!

@@Rascarrr your mum likes young boys
Sorry Ronnie and Slash. Jackson was not a Rock' n Roller.
Michael Jackson made blues Rock and so did Elvis hate to break it to you even the Beatles admitted to getting lots of inspiration from black blues artists
