I think you have made a truly amazing compilation of scenes. There is so much I literally SEE here that I only glimpsed when I originally watched this truly exceptional series. You reveal true genius in choosing moving images and then putting them together in a powerful, meaningful sequence. As for the song, hmmm, all in all a good choice. Most importantly, no conventional straight boy/girl romantic lyric forced upon a male/male love story.
hi, thank you so much! looking back there's a few things i feel like i could fix in this video (i did it pretty quickly) but overall i'm pretty happy with it :) and yeah, i listen to lyrics carefully and try to avoid using songs that don't suit characters and pairings. the whole reason why i enjoy making fanvids (and why i love watching them) is because of the meaning and impact behind them. obviously some songs aren't absolutely perfect for certain couples, but they suit them pretty well and can be interpreted in your own way (kind of like what i did with this one... some lyrics don't really match but others do if that makes sense haha). i especially love seeing parallels between scenes because it makes it so much powerful :') but yeah there's a lot of videos where random songs are just thrown over clips and it makes no sense and doesn't even suit the couple... it's even worse when you hear the word "girl" or "she" over and over again when it's a male/male relationship lol
