- Take a look inside my updated #britneyspears doll collection. Dates range from 1999-2001. I also featured some music memorabilia stuff i've collected throughout this past year.

In 1999, The doll quickly became one of the hottest toys of the year and holiday season. Millions of the dolls were sold and they were the first and biggest selling toy for Play Alongs Toys. The doll was popular due to the fact they were released at a peak of Spears's fame.
Dolls were released on Oct 15th, 1999, and sold until 2004.
Spears's image began to change when her album Britney was released. Her sexier outfits and steamy videos made the dolls become less desired by children and their parents. The last dolls released were modeled after Britney's 2001 Pepsi commercials and because her Pepsi campaign ended so did her dolls advertising the product. Play Along Toys discontinued the doll in 2004.

@@akidfrom9158 ooo if I could steal any doll from your collection it’d probably be your cool convertible! I’ve never seen a boxed one as a UK collector. I REALLY recommend investing in the tour bus- the little details are so breathtaking in person!

Ok but its crazy how she was judged for not wearing a bra, but now rihanna and bella hadid walk around with see through clothing! Brittney was definitely always a trend setter!❤️
Wow! Great collection! I’m also a Britney stan since 1998 and have been collecting for 23 years! Most of my collection consists of CDs and singles from various countries but I also have various memorabilia as well. Your video has inspired me to collect more dolls. I only have 4 of them lol

@@akidfrom9158 my favorite is definitely the super rare one which I never saw anyone have it in their collection in TH-cam before and it's really gorgeous if you wanna see what it looks like just search "Britney Spears Doll Red Dress" and she's absolutely stunning but I can't see anyone selling it

I'm so disappointed cause I can afford alot of the dolls in ebay but they never ship where I live, and mercari always says page not found.

@@akidfrom9158 I live in the Philippines, and I guess mercari is only available in the states? And ebay also doesn't ship here, I don't know if it's their system failing since my area is basically the tourist spot.
Hey there, I was just wanting to ask about the 20th anniversary plaque, is it a real cd in it and does the glass have the words printed on it?? Thanks
Hello :) Sorry for the late response. Yes, there's an actual cd in there, but its not Britney themed, just blank. As far as the words, the "Britney spears name and album name are on the glass. However, the "presented to" is engraved inside in a metal plaque. Let me know if that makes sense lol

Hey Amanda! Hows brazil? Well there is another site, its called Mercari. Its online too. Other than that, some vintage shops may carry them from time to tome. Is there a specific one you want? I may have it.

I don’t want any specific tbh I just want a doll in my collection :) But I love the Oops I Did It Again ones. My friends are in Florida, they can buy it to me if I find… Can you help me?
