I’ve been looking at the micro shift, but it appears to be that you have taught me how to use this to get extremely close to the plug-in. Sean I've been using Mastering The Mix Level mixes are on point now except Dynamic Range for Bass or 808 even if I put the Dynamic Range @ -10 dB. So my question what is the Dynamic Range for Hip-Hop and R&B and if I lower the gain on the compression or lower the level on the EQ it take the life out of the Bass in this instrumental I posted the Dynamic Range is @ -8 dB and send me info to where I can send a beat for you to review.

@@SeanDivine bruh this is dope i was always copping the vocals than going to the region section area and change one of the vocals delay so it wouldn't cause phasing issues! this plugin get rid of that process! I like this better than the free isotope doubler they came out with, its not bad but not close to having all the control that this doubler has!
Thanks Sean! I've been using doubler on my vocals but when summed to mono it just sounds like a muddy clump. I've watched your 'phase issues' video and applied the technique but still no luck. Currently listening to this video now on my phone and I can hear the doubler effect clearly. Any suggestions please?
hey Matt! most phones these days are actually stereo, so you may be hearing it as intended... folding to mono, the doubler and any stereo effects will inevitably sound different and often not as pleasing :)

Hey Sean is the plugin on the double vocal track or you putting that on the hook bus? If that makes sense. I put it on my chorus bus and it just makes everything louder.
I won't get into a debate of what's better.... I say use what works for you. Waves and others have worked great for me for a long time. I also don't like to idea of having to have the hardware dongle to use the plugins, already have enough of those :)

not necessarily, I prefer to have different takes to work with. This is a great solution if the options just aren't available!

Can you create harmonies using the doubler ?
no. It will allow you to pitch an octave down and a limited amount of cents but there's no semitone adjustment for other layers

Can you explain the reason why the vocal tracks are in stereo? I mix with logic also and from the looks it throws me off, but the sound is awesome!
they're not stereo signals - just being processed on a stereo aux so we can utilize the stereo effects (in this case panning of the doubles)

I would typically use it in stereo for a width effect with the panning. No rules though, whichever you prefer!
