Unfortunately, biometrics, such as facial recognition and finger print have been busted. So it does seem, there is something else that could be included to reach the dream of passwordless authentication. For example, some will ask a question like which of the following five properties, did you formerly reside at That may not be the winning ingredient in the solution, but the solution exists, and hopeful for those working to solve this that they will do so for everyone soon
I’m currently looking into Yubikeys - hardware keys, with a second one as a backup in case of lose of the primary key. Much better than SMS text codes sent to me. One problem though, not all banks are advancing beyond SMS so far. Oh, I’m still not a fan of bio credentials.
