I love Swoopes! Her, Dawn Staley, Lisa Leslie, Cynthia Cooper, Lobo, Ruthie Bolton, Tina Thompson and Teresa Weatherspoon were ALL greats and had swagger, and charisma. Once they all retired, the game lost its star appeal IMO. Not to mention, no dunks.
As far as the LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 representation in the WNBA, from the outside looking in, it does seem to be an LBGTQ playground. No diss from me, but a lot of people throughout the country and outside of the country aren’t as accepting of the LGBTQ community, nor ever will. Hell, probably close to half of the WNBA legends that I named don’t like men. Does that change how I view them? Nope!
Lower the goal so that they dunk.

It's like how in movies, comic books, video games and TV shows etc how female heroines are masculine now. And you see more and more of it.

So, are the players going to satisfy their own interests or are they going to do what's best to market the WNBA so they can make more money while they are playing?

Biggest mistake she EVER made was going lesbian with a coach. That was NEVER okay. The most bogus argument is the retort that there are gay players in the NBA or whatever. Lesbianism is at the root of everything WNBA, sadly. Candice Wiggwas 100% correct, and the league has NEVER really sincerely dealt with her grievances. The concern parents have with bringing their children(young daughters) is legitimate. I know this for a fact from when I use to take my girls and my 12 & under Girl's basketball team to games. Some of the girls were uncomfortable being bombarded with that and stop wanting to go.

i think those are two different things. Her having her own relationship is different from harassment. I have never seen or heard anyone say sheryl harassed them so two different points.
Now for the parents I sometimes think people go off on stereotypes 2much . In high school I knew so many girls who loved basketball and volleyball but their mothers and dads forbid them cause they did not want to be turned out even though only 2 of the girls were lesbians on the team.
What was ironic was the cheerleaders were full of lesbians and these girls looked like the girls who use too be in jet magazine but were straight carpet munchers.

I loved watching Sheryl Swoopes play. I never cared about who she was in a relationship with. She was so quick to blow by the defender and go to the hoop that it was exciting even though she didn't dunk.

That was not controlled by WOKE lesbians. Swoopes had a fake marriage for years. It wasn't until she retired that she admitted to being gay. Most of the ESPN writers that push the WNBA are lesbians. The league us a money losing joke and people don't like it period!

See, that's the thing; women can cross the line over and back, over and back, and they can call up a dude that they know, and summon him to come make her feel good. of the few gay people that I know personally, most of the guys have never had a female as a sexual partner. Just about all of the lesbians have had hetrosexual intanglements. Society is more accepting of lesbians; there is even an endearing term that is used to desribe young potential lesbians: tomboy. What are effeminate boys called? Sissy or fggot. and he will always be called that...

@Timothy Robinson I know this is a year late, but sexuality is fluid. She was most likely questioning or bi-curious, which is fine. There are a lot of people who have been in a relationship w/ a man or a woman as a man or a woman and have come to realization of what they're attracted to. She's fine. Not a big deal.

The problem with the WNBA is the W. Lol anytime you have women trying to act like men and taking themselves serious you are going to have chaos.
    1. Lesbian women are more emotionally imbalanced than heterosexual women and that’s part of the reason the wnba doesn’t want any suggestions from men because they are too emotional to list to reason.
    2. The WNBA sucks, they play at the level of a boys championship middle school program. There are boys highschool teams that would sweep the best WNBA team. There are pick up game squads that would sweep the best WNBA team and that’s a problem.
    3. The WNBA needs to remarked themselves and I guarantee you that heterosexual women that have men to be the bread winners can focus more on their craft and can actually train themselves to be able to compete at a high level.
