    Thankfully, all of my crafting stuff thus far from Temu has been pretty awesome .... going to get more, in fact, I'm hooked, and I can have fun without breaking the bank 😊

    I ordered stamps, diecuts, hot foil plates, embossing folders, and stencils from Temu, and I have not been disappointed in any of them. To me, the quality is just as good as the high priced brand name items. I will continue to buy from Temu for my craft supply needs! ❤

      I agree! And I love their easy return policy. If you do get something you don’t like or that doesn’t work. It’s a win-win for me. 😁Thank you so much for commenting. 🫶🏻

    Thank you for the truth in stamping. I've had that problem with other stamps. Truly enjoyed your sharing about the dies also. Good job.

      Jeannie, thank you so much for watching and commenting. So glad you found it helpful. I don’t know if you saw it or not but I did a previous Teemu craft haul where I tried out non-Christmas related dies as well. So far it’s been a really positive experience with their dies and stamps. Hope you’re finding that as well!

    Loving Temu. The prices are perfect. I find the brand names so over priced. I’ve not had a problem with any dies or stamps. The blending brushes are great too

    Liked watching your video.
    I have been scrapbooking and making cards for about 22 years...not that I'm a pro...lol
    I've ordered from different companies and since I've been shopping with Temu, thought I'd try theirs being that they are considerably less expensive. Haven't tried it all yet but from what I have, like them.
    I also found when I use my Misti or Stamparatus, the stamps work much better.
    Actually, alot of the things come from China anyway so I don't have any issues.
    Thanks for sharing.

      @CherShares-vv6br  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I try not to get in the middle of the "china" debate. :) To each his own. Girl, I'm no pro either...sometimes wonder what the heck I was thinking having a youtube channel, but I do love it and especially love learning from others who are more experienced like yourself! I haven't used my Misti in years probably. Going to dusts it off now! Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment and tips!

    I have the same set that you said wouldn't cut. Just add an extra layer of cardstock or a metal plate used for die machines and it will give your machine extra cutting pressure. Mine cut great after I added an extra piece of cardstock between the plates.

    The small “specimen” words & numbers fit inside one the the small rectangle dies. I’ve been very happy with their stamps. TFS❣️

    • @CherShares-vv6br
      @CherShares-vv6br  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for letting me know that! Were you able to get the little words to cut cleanly through?

    • @CreativeTrish
      @CreativeTrish ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes…depends on the age of ones “platforms” I got the Sizzix switch last year & the pressure can be too much at times.🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve had my big shot for YEARS…but use a piece of paper or cardstock…if it doesn’t do the trick…let them know.
      Have too much fun❣️

    I have been pleased by my Temu card making purchases with one exception. Be aware that background dies are slightly larger than the stand 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 card. I'm not sure why and it drives me crazy. If you are considering one that has a border/can't be cut down neatly to size, I suggest checking the size carefully before purchasing.

    While I love looking at craft haul videos I don’t put much weight on whether a die cuts out well or not. What most people don’t realize is that all cutting machines whether manual or electric will not perform exactly the same. Not even with dies that come from the same manufacturer. I have two manual machines and 2 electronic and the sandwich for each one is different. the oldest one I own is a big kick, now known as a big shot and it’s 20 years old. It’s on its last leg; I use my machines a lot and the big kick just needs extra shims to cut crisp. It is what it is. That’s the thing; the rollers that press the dies into your paper CAN WEAR OUT. The cutting plates will also be a factor. The only time I’ll complain about a die not cutting is if I can tell that it just wasn’t manufactured properly and then I’ll let the company whether it’s Ali, Temu or a local company know.

    • @CherShares-vv6br
      @CherShares-vv6br  ปีที่แล้ว

      Agree! My Gemini Jr which is electric cut the dies so much better than my Big Shot! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

    There’s always going to be some good ,some bad with craft dies from Temu I have found. Since we are getting such low prices the quality of the metal isn’t as well made in the design of the dies that are intricate I find. The stamps I have brought from Temu have stamped well, I did buy a birthday verse stamp , and when I got it , the words were spelt wrong.

  • @TinyStitches1
    @TinyStitches1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Looks like you might need to use an extra shim or two with the tiny letters that go with the file tabs - if you wanted to use them.

    Thank you for showing us your results, so we can know which dies work and which ones are not so great. The die you did not know what it was, I believe is called a specimen die.

    • @CherShares-vv6br
      @CherShares-vv6br  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, a specimen die! Thank you! I’ve gotten quite a few suggestions on how to potentially get it to cut well, so I’m anxious to give that a try. I will post an update on how it goes. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.🫶🏻

  • @myruffleddreams1906
    @myruffleddreams1906 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I think you may have better luck with those tiny word dies that are Tim Holtz type style ones. If you were to cut them all apart, they might cut better and I also think they’re meant to be used in the negative not necessarily to use the letters that have been cut out. I thought they were super cute with the letters still in the paper though too. I have a Gemini Jr that I use most of the time, but ended up getting a Sizzix sidekick for those tiny little things that were a pain to run through a big die machine.

    • @CherShares-vv6br
      @CherShares-vv6br  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much for the tips! I think I’ll try cutting them apart and giving it another shot. Didn’t think to use the negatives! Can’t wait to see if I can actually make them work for me now! I’ll do a follow up video if so! Thanks so much!

      Good for you! The stamps and dies they sell are all stolen from other legit companies. Including Stampin’Up!, Honey Bee Stamps,… China uses forced labor of adults and children. Because they sell direct to the consumer they do not have to pay the import tax every one else does. It’s so sad because this is damaging our economy even more. I refuse to be a party to any of it. I’m glad you didn’t get any push back for your comment because I always do LOL. Blessings!❤

    Cher, Thank you for taking your time to review these dies. Honest information about products we paper crafters use is always valuable. However, temu is a Chinese company and my feeling is that I do not want to support China in any way. These Chinese companies undercut our U.S.-made products which support our companies and our workers. The additional cost pays for the living wage that we pay workers and the working conditions they have. No, thank you, to China’s products.

      The only problem is that most of the dies and stamps we have available are manufactured in China.

    • @maramakesjournals2319
      @maramakesjournals2319 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mwhite663 That is a problem; however, stamps and dies by Stampin up, Tim Holtz, Sizzix, etc are designed by those companies who then contract with Chinese companies. Designers like Seth Apter and Dina Wakely get their due. Taxes are paid in America by those companies. If you look, you will find products made in the US. If you buy used stamps and dies on eBay, an American seller gets some profit. I didn’t always care so much, but now I see China as an evil empire of thieves. It’s OUR job, our duty, to do the right thing. 🇺🇸 This applies to Canada, Australia, France, etc. If you buy on eBay, filter to buy in your own country. Thanks for listening.

    It sounds like you have a problem with little pieces. Perhaps you should ONLY order larger dies? You would probably have an easier time with your organizational skills that way also. Its o.k. to be overwhelmed with smaller pieces. I use a mental shim with my cutting machine .I bought this from temu.I have NO problems with their dies. Perhaps its the sandwich you use or...your machine? So sorry you sound so DOWN in your video. Try to cheer up and wishing you a better day.
