Sometime around 2016 I stumbled upon Allie busking in Tralee and was completely blown away by her exceptional voice and delivery. She was only 11 or 12 at the time but it was very obvious to me that she was uniquely very special. I like your critique BTW.. A great performer, Allie is now 17 and her range and depth just keep exploding almost logarithmically. That last note (to me) has the clear purity that I haven’t heard since Karen Carpenter and yet on the other end of the power spectrum she almost yodels in a free form magical sense. With over 5M TH-cam followers she seems to have her choice of labels once she turns 18. I love that she loves to perform and I think her star is going to explode next year which is great news for anyone who loves great performances.
I think people know immediately who some singers are as soon as they open their mouths. Singers like Ozzy Osbourne, Elvis Presley, Steven Tyler, Karen Carpenter, Madonna, Celine Dion, and I'm sure most would agree, Stevie Nicks. This is how I feel about Allie Sherlock now. I was mesmerized by Allie and didnt notice the conversation between the guitar players thanks for pointing that out. I had no idea of the cues musicians send to each other during a song. Makes me wonder if ones playing is off, and ignores or does not even look at the other band members can that cause problems?
This teacher knows his game!!! I was waiting to hear how Allie went after the part in the song that we all that's coming, where Thom Yorke literally skyrockets out of human form into God knows what... and the teacher goes... a little flat. Yeah I agree. But she did a lot of other really cool things with her voice throughout the song. And that climatic vocal by Thom Yorke in the song is legendary and definitely NOT easy to do. So despite that, Allie sang pretty darn good. And the teacher, its cool to listen to his critique because you can really see how much he knows about music.

He's correct in his interp. Allie is notorious for being able to do many things with her songs. I've heard her do Creep several times similarly but she can switch it up so easily at any given opportunity. That's why I listen to her often. She's very versatile in ability or so it has appeared so.

Yes ! This was great! Allie is very cool 😎 I have heard some songs where I thought she was pushing for her voice ( a little "try to show off a bit" moment) when the voice cracks and to cover it up gets a little (shouty) . I realize she is still young, but I believe she has talent, great big voice, but hate to see her over do it and crash and burn. She has so much to give, and the public love her. Probably dozens of things that can cause the problems but non verbal cues and subtle glances can fix a lot of issues to help each other out.

That girl's performance is one of the best performances I've seen of any cover. Her motions, her vocals and her interpretation of that one is a masterpiece as Steve says.

He's correct in his interp. Allie is notorious for being able to do many things with her songs. I've heard her do Creep several times similarly but she can switch it up so easily at any given opportunity. That's why I listen to her often. She's very versatile in ability or so it has appeared so.

Yes ! This was great! Allie is very cool 😎 I have heard some songs where I thought she was pushing for her voice ( a little "try to show off a bit" moment) when the voice cracks and to cover it up gets a little (shouty) . I realize she is still young, but I believe she has talent, great big voice, but hate to see her over do it and crash and burn. She has so much to give, and the public love her. Don't want her to go down into the pits. ( Can I just mention Allie's dad ) Your doing an amazing job with your girl, YOU ARE ONE AMAZING DAD !.

DJ, great reaction. I like that you unlike other reactors call the small imperfections out. Not in a mean way just honesty. Most reactions are like "Oh, that was perfect".
