I just was gifted a GoldMaster2 which is similar to your model there. They work off a 45khz frequency, I was doing some research and a new $900 Minelab Gold Monster 1000 ALSO works at 45khz….so technically it’s mechanically the same, just more hands on and no computer chip to worry about. Nice find 👍
Nope not a relic by any means, I bought one new in 1994 and it still works just as good now as then, it’s a good detector, I un-hook the box and wear it on my belt along with my carpenters pouch which holds my other prospecting tools, it’s nice just having the weight of the wand and loop. Good find and buy 👍
I just ordered a battery holder on eBay that allows you to use regular AA batteries instead of the old rechargeable one. I still need to read the manual lol.
Nice. I had a whites gmt for quite a few years. Had an nxt as well. Was very disappointed that whites shut down. Garrett bought then out which I'm glad too see it in America hands.
Yes sir. I recieved a letter from the staff. I had ordered quite a few things from them over the years. Came down to supplies issues and covid. Unfortunately, its happening more and more to American companies. ....

Real good find and looks bran new dont ever sell it you will regret it dont ask me how i know .The vsat is a good all arounder imo not just for gold . 2toes has a video using a gm3 they're similar detectors for ground balancing basically the same.But if you do want to sell it let me know.

well the "desert explorer 302" was metal detector-y, but when i seen them springs i figured that to be your CB handle
