Worship Theme: Followers Of Christ Imitate Christ's Selfless Service.
You would think that followers of Christ should expect respect and honor. After all, they are God's ambassadors in this world. Our sinful nature latches on to that and looks for recognition and prestige. This Sunday we again see the striking difference between a Christian and a worshiper of the false gods of this world. The difference is in the way the way that the Christian looks at ambition. No one should be more ambitious that we are. The proper ambition is the desire to serve. The Son o Man did not come to be served, but to serve.
