Oh my goodness this Man just saved me $400.00 in parts an labor that some Crooked mechanics tried to get me to pay . I'm a granma and did this myself . Thank you so much for your Video 🙏🙏🙏💯❤
You make it look so easy! Took forever for me to get off the driver's side top slide on the caliper and the passenger side was so bad that I couldn't get it off at all and now we have to take it somewhere. The previous person that worked on the brakes never greased the caliper slides!
You are going to have to make a video on how to change the brake fluid, it's good to have it changed because of the moisture that can build up in the lines. Great Job on a quick and easy change.
Hmm this is a different caliper than my 2003 Camry with rear disk brakes. My car usa built, maybe that is the difference? My calipers are a little smaller and a 14 mm on top and bottom & like many other cars 😮
Hopefully someone monitors this video... I am having trouble finding a video for the parking brake 'c" brake unit.. my handbrake isn't returning when i take the handbrake off it stays engaged
This man teaches very well and instills confidence. I will perform the brake job on my Toyota!
Thank You. I appreciate it👍
Showing a closeup of the piston coming back was a good detail. Thanks for the vid.
You're welcome👍🔧

This is a common problem. If the caliper slides are not greased they get stuck. The next time you do this job. It will be much easier.
This has to be the best video i have seen for changing brakes... Thanks!
You are welcome. Thank you for watching. Happy Thanksgiving
Another happy customer, great job Hector.
Thank you 007.

Thank you for posting this helpful video. Your detailed instructions are much appreciated. Saves us some $$$.
Good job Hector using the Timmy towel...
Yes, I forgot to call it the Timmy. LOL
1st good Job hector. you need 1 of those hand held electric ratchets like Timmy has.
I have been thinking of getting one of the ratchet. It would be much faster in doing a job. Thank you
Thank you very much for sharing your video. That will save me some money.
You're welcome👍
Thank u. U saved me money, doing this myself.
You're Welcome🔧👍

So do you not put grease on the back of brake pads?
I would
Do all these camry's have rear discs or do some have drums in the rear?
I'm not sure. Sorry about that.

You're welcome. Thank you for watching🔧👍
I like the way u explain were ur from ny or Jersey
I'm from N.Y.C👍
You kinda sound like Manny from GTA4. I love that character!
Do all 2003 Toyota Camry’s have rear disk brakes?
Not sure
@@NoneMechanic101 They don't. Mine have drums/brake shoes.
@@JiltedValkyrie Thank you👍
Does it matter which pad goes on which side?
Yes it does matter. The same way the brake pads was removed should be the same way put back.
Make sure you don't mess up your caliber
Thank you
Thanks !! That video is good
Thank You👍🔧

It can be that the handle is stuck
Does it have ABS?
Don't remember. Sorry about that
@@NoneMechanic101 ABS or none ABS still the same procedure on how to replace the brake pad ?
@@playstation2bigs I have never had any problems on ABS or none ABS. I change the brake pads the same way.
Thanks for the video
You are welcome. Thank you for watching.
I just got my rear brakes done. I don't think they did a good job because they feel the same. I'll have to get them inspected elsewhere.
Brake Pads are very important. I would get them inspected.
That's weird the bolts on my caliper are all 14 mm
That's weird
Y’all need school drivers
👍
That’s not a C clamp my friend.
🤦🏻♂️
If you want to do a good job. Don’t be doing pad slaps
You’re absolutely right but if the owner of the car doesn’t want to get what they need. What can we do🤦🏻♂️
