I think that Gallade would have been better for two reasons: (1) unique Fighting coverage + Swords Dance; (2) it is a physical attacker unlikely most of your pokemons ===> in my opinion, a rerun is mandatory.

Couldn't you have technically caught a Blipbug on route 1 after you got to Slowpoke? Could have made the whole Team Yell fiasco a whole lot easier. I'm not sure if you do later in the run, But Blipbug was right there

I ain't ever cried from a Nuzlocke until I see Gardevoir go down! :( I never realized she was my fav pokemon since Emerald which is the first game I've ever played. I had to get her in the 4th generation to truly understand her power. Gardevoir is great as a Psychic/Fairy type. She's gotten me out of some pretty tough situations especially beating Cynthia with moonblast. I'm so excited she's in Scarlet and Violet lol

Great video, however you missed an encounter from the very beginning of the game on route 1 in Blipbug which evolves into the Bug/Psychic Pokemon Orbeetle

I always pick gardevoir over gallade. It has nothing to do with stats, but the first pokemon game I ever played was X, and the mega evolution of gardevoir made such a huge impact on my 14 year old brain, it instantly became one of my favorite pokemon.
I would choose gardevior is your playing sword since the fighting type gym can’t do anything to it and gallade for shield since it would come in handy for like half of the major battles in that version

Tbh if I was doing this challenge I would evolve Kirlia into a Galade because Gallade is cool (jk but it is cooler than Gardevoir) And you can already catch a Haterene which is a Fairy/Psycic type sooo...
grookey is the hardest choice here actually cause Hops starter will learn some nice dark type moves meaning harder for you, the sucker punchs i had to deal with this run were brutal, typing this half a minute in lol
On my first ever play through of Pokémon shield, I was sweeping the ghost gym with eevee, since it knew bite and was immune to ghost moves. Then, right before The gym leader, it evolved into an Espeon, and cursed me to fail the ghost gym 4 times in a row. (At the time I was stupid and didn’t know which eeveelution it was about to become, nor did I know you could cancel evolution. Ever since, Espeon has sat in the PC.
Giggled at the Ralts line named Wally. Everytime I see a mono psychic run using Gardevoir though it seems a bit unfair because the fairy typing basically fixes the issue with dark types.

With Fairy types, Psychic got a buff against Dark types since most of them can use some Fairy moves. With some even gaining the Fairy type themselves.
