I've found that my biggest regrets in life are for things that I didn't do...not for things that I did do. Taking your kids on the adventure of a lifetime: PRICELESS!
Agreed! A priceless experience!
Love your hair, looks great. Sounds like you all had wonderful experiences, challenging and fun. Good for you and your family. So fun to watch ❤
Thank you!
For me if possible, retained the Nova Scotia home for passive income snd like me who got the travel bug being to more than 70 cities, time will come the itchy feet will want to settle back again.
Would you/have you ever thought about selling your house and belongings to travel?
We have recently sold our house and leave end of February to travel full time. We are also retiring early to do this.
Thanks for the video. I would say that from a budget perspective it really depends on where you are travelling. $4k a month is a very high budget.
With children I probably wouldn’t sell my home and travel the world. Seems a little irresponsible. Making good $$ on TH-cam in the travel niche is very difficult. Plus you guys always have your face in the camera. That’s old school. People want narration and fast moving data now.
Gotta get up to speed.
thank you for your perspective, been contemplating on selling my house to travel but I'm thinking travel couple times then maybe sale? thanks much. peace!
Thank you for the vid its very helpful. Would you suggest that if we could pay off our house and then cash-flow travel that might be a good option? Then we could come back home. We might not be able to travel as long, maybe once or twice a year. Your advice is appreciated.
Definitely a good option. No debt means more money to save for Travel and you don't need to sacrifice your home base. You could also rent out your home to travel longer. Do things like pet sit to reduce cost of travel.
What I think would have been better for us would have been to rent out our home (since we were mortgage free) and get a part-time online job to cover some mlre costs, then found ways to save on travel and did it that way. Would have been better in the long run.
@@EveryFurtherMile Thank you- very helpful!
Just a quick follow-up question; were you guys able to buy back into the housing market again? A concern I have is if I sold and travelled having to go back into debt to buy a house again.
@@DavidBluelineGaming it is much harder now. We will have to get a mortgage to buy back in.
@@EveryFurtherMile I am so sorry about that - I appreciate your candor. Your video and feedback were super helpful to me in the exact same decision of life.
Thank you
I want to but I have a couch potato husband, don't think I can convince him.
