Thank you so much for showing the camera pictures in full screen. I appreciate it so much. Others just slap a tiny picture in a white background, and it is pretty annoying. So, thank you.
I really don't like clickbait. It's the standard in High-End "normal" Android phone competition. Vivo x200 Pro ? Iqoo 13 ? Xiaomi 15 Pro ? Realme Gt 7 Pro ? All the same category in specs, and techs. Stop comparing it with Apple. Apple users are dinosaurs and they dont care of other brands. Every foldable phone seems more futuristic than this.
Apple is boring, every upgrade is like the same thing nothing change at all been using iPhone since the first release so it is time to move to Android now enough with nonsense upgrade.🤡
He compared it to Samsung & Google too. Thogether with Apple these produce the most popular flagships by far in all western and some asian markets, so I dont think its very clickbaity
Man I really hope Samsung or Pixel will keep up with the battery tech... Don't really want to go back to Oneplus because of the software... And I can't work with iPhones
Instant subscriber ... Great video and beautifully shot . And I'm very happy with mine ... I couldn't wait for the ultra and i didn't think the OnePlus 13 would be as good . P.s the display is slightly wider than the standard 20:9 ratio ... And I'm very happy about that too. . Cheers from Australia 🦘😅
This Oppo seems great except it's not packing the Snapdragon 8 Elite like the OnePlus 13 and Xiaomi 15/Pro. Samsung and Google have some catching up to do with all these great Chinese competitors. It's just a shame the Chinese manufacturers don't always release their top models globally (allowing Android Auto and Wallet) and at the same time as their Chinese models. I'm very interested in the Xiaomi 15 Pro 1TB but apparently the global release is only going to be the 512GB version.
Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor are really good, only if you don't use tempered glass since there's will be compatible issues if you use that screen protector, the scanner will be slower and sometimes not really accurate, I've using ultrasonic fingerprint for the past 4 years now and now switched to optical fingerprint sensor with my OnePlus phone and now I don't have problem to choose any screen protector anymore with this sensor, of course it less secure but for functionality & much practical to use with my personal usages
@Cptblogh which one ? For ultrasonic it quite fast & reliable if you don't use tempered glass, but I think/feel like the optical one a little bit faster & quite annoying when unlocking the phone in the dark room, this is my experience from using S20, S22 and OnePlus Ace 3V
@@pudinichigo91 alright. Yes I was referring to the optical, whether it was fast or not. I have a phone with optical and ultrasonic, and the optical is fairly slower, so I wouldn't wanna buy again a slow and innacurate unlocking phone
@@Cptblogh mine is pretty fast with my OnePlus phone, it comparable or may even faster than my S22, doesn't matter if I use tempered glass or film screen protector it still works very well with optical one.
The camera button does not click and is not tappable, it is pressure sensitive. My camera does not record in log with black magic app, which app version are you using?
This phone is a good phone but priced poorly. In India with discount it cost almost $1100 which is a lot for a phone which doesn't have ultrasonic fingerprint, no 8k recording option on the rear camera, no 4k portrait mode on front camera and no 2k display. The OnePlus 13 which is about to be launched in a week or two has all these features and is going to be cheaper by almost $200. Not sure what was oppo thinking while they decided on the price.

not sure if it's an ad or just someone reviewing his first chinese flagship but either way vivo already have better phones, I'm sure the xiaomi 15 ultra will be better if the pro isn't yet, and like you said the oppo ultra will be better, it's a decent phone but nothing crazy, I even prefer the one plus 13 to this one.
Its decent, but you will likely find several scratches on it within a year if you dont put a protector on it. I had Victus on my phone which is supposed to be stronger than 7i and got loads of scratches on it. Gotta say that I used neither a case or a screen protector though. Apples Sapphire Glass is still unmatched by anything Gorilla can produce.
@@rockwithrick007 you are right it’s just Ceramic Shield on the inside. For me I have gotten far less scratches on the iPhone I have now vs the Pixel I had before.
How is this Oppo Find X8 Pro ahead of the competition 🤔 It's just a standard high-end Android smartphone from 2024-2025, and above all it's the only one to have a fingerprint reader that, in addition to not being ultra-sonic, is badly positioned 🤷🏽♂️
Why do you think the OnePlus 13 will be worse? The Processor should be much more powerful, the battery will be better, the updates as I understood will be just as long and if it will be cheaper, why would you not choose the OP13? I'm an OnePlus user since the OP6 and I love them. Now I need to upgrade from the 8T which has reached EOS and the battery performs poorly. I wanted to switch to OPPO ( I know this is the mother company of OnePlus), but I felt like the Mediatek CPU is a drawback. Also I'm a bit afraid with the LTE band of OPPO in Europe. Never had an issue with my OP tho. Please let me know what you think
Oneplus 13 has a very well known battery "problem", where while the battery is still good, it's the worst out of this set of new Chinese flagship devices (Oppo X8 Pro, Vivo x200 Pro, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Honor Magic 7 Pro), and by a fair margin too, despite its battery size. There are tons of reviews and comments you can find that showcase this. The performance of the phone is very good, although from the majority of tests I've seen it handles heat worse. When it comes to gaming there is very little difference the two chipsets, if anything the GPU on the Dimensity 9400 is slightly better, with the Snapdragon 8 Elite having better CPU performance. Though if you're into using emulators for gaming you shouldn't consider any of the phones with the Dimensity 9400 simply because they have less driver support available - Oneplus 13 has an advantage vs the Oppo X8 Pro and Vivo x200 Pro in that regard. For cameras the Vivo x200 Pro and Oppo Find X8 Pro are better, there's no contest. That doesn't make Oneplus 13's camera bad, it's just competing with the best of the best. Oneplus 13 should hopefully be cheaper across global releases (it is in China at least) as well as having a higher resolution display than all but the Xiaomi 15 Pro; I'd say it has the best haptics as well. The last positive for Oneplus 13 is if you're buying the Chinese devices and not the globally released ones, it's pretty much the only one left that still allows you to unlock your bootloader, install custom ROM (so you can change from Chinese to global), etc. Ultimately it comes down to what you want in your phone. Overall I'd say the Oneplus is worse but that's because it's outperformed in the places I care about. For example if you're someone who really wants that slightly better resolution and you like ColorOS/OxygenOS the most so you wouldn't get the Xiaomi 15 Pro, Oneplus 13 is the phone for you.
It's a nice phone, but OPTICAL fingerprint reader? They really messed up. If the phone is so quick, you need to be able to quickly and accurately unlock it.
