What's your logic for no advanced honing at all in t3 though if you say people should push 1680? You say its 70% less mats in t4 (its around 50-55% btw) but the gold cost stays the same. There's also already math out there for adv honing compared to regular honing, as in when advanced honing is overall going to be cheaper compared to the average of regular honing. There might be some context I'm missing on why you're so against advanced honing in t3 but here's how I see it: T4 = 50-55% less mats but same gold cost, shards will, per usual be the more annoying resource to get within the first couple months T3 = 5:1 material conversion (no shards) aka you're losing 80% of the mats If you plan to go to 1680 it's almost certainly cheaper to at least do 1-10 advanced honing before you regular hone to +18 (1680) To give you an idea, going from 1620 to 1680 will cost you about 12k leaps/3.7m shards/7.5k oreha's/545k armor/181k weapon/991k gold Going from 1620 full 10 advance honed (so 1630) this cost goes down to about 6.8k leaps/2m shards/ 302k armor/100k weapon/3.9k oreha/561k gold So how would it be logical not to advance hone in t3, especially if you can use up some of the t3 shards and bound mats you have rather than converting? You're a math guy, you can't tell me looking at those numbers it doesn't make sense to advance hone to at least +10 in t3 if your goal is 1680. Or at least use up what bound mats you have. Just for the record I'm not saying force the advance honing, this is only if you have the ability to do so.
you said it 100% right, you are missing a lot of context, but math as math is basic math says im right alone, so w.e math you think already came out is wrong lol. i appreciate the numbers tho just helps my next video more.
@@evolvedmentality229 Regular honing what though? T3 gear? Because on average honing t3 passed +19 is objectively worse than advanced honing 1-10, and if you're converting to T4 to hone there, if your goal is 1680 then you're gonna be advanced honing at some point so there's really no good reason for you to not save t4 shards on advanced honing by doing it in T3 instead. You say the goal should be as many 1680s for the next guardian, and you should ideally push 1680 without advanced honing. Idk if you've actually done any math on the average cost of honing in t4 but not advanced honing at least 1-10 going to 1680 will on average cost you much more. Also I can't exactly misunderstand something you didn't touch on. All you say is don't advance hone but still hone as many characters to 1680, when I said missing context I meant you're not giving context for certain things you say ppl should do. We'll likely end up agreeing to disagree but I really think you should compare all of the math on t3 adv honing vs t4 adv honing, adv honing vs regular honing etc. The math that "came out" isn't wrong, it's literally just a math based cost comparison. Honestly if you're as good at math as you claim I think (hope) you'll realize the difference once (if) you do the math for yourself. Another important factor I think you're missing is that sure t4 advanced honing is about 50-55% less materials than t3 but you can't convert shards. T3 shards become useless once you convert to T4 so how is saving 50-55% materials better than saving 100% of the shards?
T4 is next week, nice to see you back anyway
@Minotking well I feel stupid, at least I have time to give the details now lol

also you misunderstood i think a lot, ill still be using my t3 mats just not on adv honing rather normal honing
so the whole second piece or paragraph is null
ya honestly good info but like the Koreans at the moment wrong conclusion sorry brother hopefully the next video helps you see it more clearly
