Shooting in full sunlight is definitely a challenge but you did it masterfully my guy! I'm pretty comfortable with shooting in full sun (except for this Texas heat), but I love your videos and the way you inspire fellow photographers! Keep it up my brother!

Question for ya. You lose stops of light in your strobe when shooting in HSS, so does having a 600 watt strobe make a difference rather than using say a 400 watt strobe and a nd filter?
It does help, that’s why i normally shoot with the 600 at noon because of that. Now, if you are using an nd and keeping it out HSS the 400 is fine for sure. Now I’ve used just a 400 at noon but my softbox wasn’t double diffused and it was closer than normal to my subject
Very well done! Do you ever do any gels to your strobes when shooting like this? I know some photographers put a slight warming gel on theirs.

Keydrin any reason why nit using ND to combat the harsh sun?
I’m using the 105 and trying to get a filter for it is hard. But I was using an ND Filter for the video 😬
