Hey man, This was an amazing deck!! By far the best A/S deck profile ive seen, Congrats on your 1st place + rewards! Im atill chasing a Madrigal mat + Promo for Set5. I have a similar bulld but love your way of break down of each card though. Curious how many players were at this event?
I don't remember how many, but I know the cap was I think 24. Wasn't able to get a Mirabel this time around. Some life challenges (injury in family that required my care, and generally juggling 2 kiddos while teaching full time) took a lot of my time. Still record my Leagues and play when I can though! But I couldn't put the prep time I wanted to into this one! I was on Ruby Amethyst this time, but some other locals had some spicy lists in these colors (that took home playmats!) dreamborn.ink/decks/hPGsQQCbZAN0kbkzAMZu
Thanks! Because of no Pixelborn, it was was actually the first time I'd played this exact 60 in an actual 1v1 setting... So I tried to put thought into it based on my other experience. 😅
Do you still continue to use this deck at set 5 , if so what’s your thoughts about the new agro tendencies with the lady duck and what changes do you think are reliable, thanks for the video.
@@eduardosousa1072 I think it works well when there's a lot of slower blue decks, but it looks like at least for week 1, Daisy and hyper aggro are going to be popular. So if people are tech-ing for Daisy aggro, it hurts this. So I can see either pivoting the shell from steel to amber and embracing the aggro, or possibly changing around to older Blue Fairy decks, w/Hood, Tink, Beast, and a bunch of removal. I honestly don't know. I think if everything starts fast, it's just not going to be as good as the other fast decks, But what I'm personally probably going to do is take the amethyst half and pair it with green for cursed merfolk, Flynn, Diablo, and Ursula. And take my steel cards to put with Amber for SteelSong. But I don't know for sure... I AM sure it will be fun, I just don't know if it will be GOOD. If that makes sense.
I handle Bucky by drawing more cards than they discard, and being able to play them all each turn because they're cheap. As long as I can keep Diablo or Ursula from spiraling out of control, Bucky itself isn't really the problem. Unless I have a slow start and can't dump my hand fast enough.
i also run amethyst steel.. not sure if i should go half aggro half control, or all aggro or all control, or midrange. very versitle deck. i havent seen anyone run pua over little maleficient before.
@@Churmander I think of it like this, little Maleficent is seen as a huge threat and immediately removed all the time. She'll quest for 2 then be taken out, if she gets to quest at all. Broom, Chern, or Hook will sit there making 2, 3, 4+ lore because they're not a huge immediate threat. I like playing threats just annoying enough to cause damage, but not enough to warrant snap removal. Pua being a 2/2 means he's not taken out by Tink, and can't be challenged profitably by 1/x's. But if he is, he shuffles back in and comes back later (especially with so much card draw). He's also inkable, which could be relevant, as the deck wants a super low uninkable count to keep up consistency (just Rabbit, Arthur, and Canons, total of 8). Iduno at least that's what I was thinking!
No idea! I have yet to play against it. And with Pixelborn gone, "testing" is almost all theoretical. I think it'll depend on if they have Cindy + Storm and Ariel + Swords. Which are pretty rough.
@@littleleaguedueling7945 I would think it would be similar, fire the canons and ba boom would keep the small Cindy and queen at bay while smash could take Ariel. But still the concept would be the same because your drawing cards as they banish them and low ink curve helps.
@@Churmander I was hoping to record this yesterday, but was unable to make League. It's the next iteration on the style for me. It was built with SteelSong in mind, because so much of the original deck folds to the speed and removal of Amber Steel. If nothing drastic happens, I will likely be playing this next week too: dreamborn.ink/decks/ofCy6uL7XM5YcRvY6KDd

Great walk through on your deck.

testing this on tts, seems strong and goes well into set 5 cards

How did you handle Bucky? Why not big TinkerBell instead of a kuzco?

And Tink costs too much. Super low curve tops out at 4. I believe I won one of my finals matches with only 4 or 5 ink in play, even on turn 6 or 7.
i also run amethyst steel.. not sure if i should go half aggro half control, or all aggro or all control, or midrange. very versitle deck. i havent seen anyone run pua over little maleficient before.

I like the midrange one, but set 5 seems asking this deck to go aggro, at least leaning into aggro
How is this deck against steel songs
