I think they're different but look similar...will you still be making hot foil plates along with the press plates, or moving away from hot foil? (I do realize they do different things, and that the glimmer expressions packs are similar to hotfoil in it's results.)
You are right that stamps do almost the same thing…. they just do not give you the added texture/ letterpress effect. Betterpress plates are also great for those of us who LOVE to hot foil. Stencils are a great suggestion - thank you. I can definitely see how they make life easy!
😂 life happened and shows happened. It’s been a crazy year with 2-3 shows a month. They are winding down now after this week’s show in LA I’m done until February 😅

I haven’t decided what to do about HFP YET Denise… seems like less and less people are using them - but, the press plates foil beautifully 💗
I don't have a betterpress system (yet), but I would rather see matching layering stencils (a stamp does basically the same thing).

Which non-Spellbinders-cotton paper did you find gave the best impression/depression with the plates?
Watercolor paper… it’s also made with cotton. Some are 100% cotton and some are not. I personally prefer hot press paper since it is smooth
