Missez K. any recommended hotels for single guy peeps for myself to go to? Never been to Cancun. Thinking maybe trying out Krystal in the hotel zone just to get a feel you know for Cancun. ?? any help? Prices right now with flight look like 600 to 800 ish bucks for the zone. Looking for a hotel that permits me to get around on foot.
@@travelmanMN i have only stayed at this one but most hotels in the hotel zone seem nice and walking distance if not a short bus ride to downtown. hope you find what you like. good luck
Thanks for that video, man. I appreciated it. Especially the fact that you showed the beach. I’ve been to several places in Cancun, and while I always loved it, sometimes you don’t quite know what to expect from the beach. The last time I went the sargassum seaweed was just horrible, and they just couldn’t keep up with the cleaning. Some reviews of Royal Solaris (I think it’s the hotel next door) said the beach had rocks, and there may be a few, but what your video shows looks fantastic to me. Thanks again!
Awesome glad my video helped. I always research places before I go so I know what to expect so I try to show things like that in my videos. Hope the sargasum dosnt creep in anytime soon there :(
Thank you for the video review. I am planning to go to Cancun, for 7 days Sunwing all-inclusive package from Montreal, Canada, during kids winter break in early March 2022. Your review really helped me to finalize my decision to pick this hotel. My wife is very picky on hotel (& food).
Hi, and welcome to the channel. We always found something to eat. Breakfast, we stuck to eggs and fruit and yogurt. Some of the fried options around the pools were too heavy for us. I'd say the food wasn't spectacular, just ok. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
My family and I stay here every year. The Three Solaris Hotels were all amazing. Every hotel has its best qualities. We eat the sushi every day, it is delicious! The rooms are clean and spacious, not that we care, we are there for the beach, pool, and to relax! Enjoy Cancun like we have for the past 25 years!
Hi and welcome to the channel! If you booked your room at the GR Caribe Solaris, Normally you can go over the the Royal Solaris. Our wrist bands let us get food from the areas outside, by pools, etc. Now if you book through an ultra cheap website I can't say if this will let you or not. We used hotels.com and we had no issues. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate it! Hope you have a great trip!
Hi, and welcome to the channel. The drinks were just ok. Since we booked at Caribe, we were able to use most of the Royal solaris stuff. Inc. Their outdoor food outlets, pools, etc. But you will need to verify at the time you book and what online outlet you use, etc. Expedia, hotels.com, or with the hotel itself. Some don't grant Royal Salaris access. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it.
@@naycoats1713 Hope you have a great time! Make where you are booking through specifically States access to its sister property next door, if you're planning to use both properties. I used hotels.com and I had no issues.
Hi there. Great questions. There was a buffet available for breakfast, we just chose room service instead as it was included. As far as the WIFI I sure hope it's been upgraded :( But I guess I'll just have to go back there and find out ;) Thanks for commenting and watching I appreciate it.
Thanks for the vid! Best GR Caribe vid on TH-cam. My girl and I will be there end of February for 4 days. What was the most memorable/favorite moment of your stay?
Thanks Siegfred! I really appreciate your kind comment. I think I loved the huge beach area the GR Caribe had. Tons of space and I loved swimming in the ocean. Also grabbing a bite to eat and a drink when I needed it was nice! I hope you have a great trip and stay!
Thanks for doing such a comprehensive tour during such a short stay. This is one of the top 3 videos of GR Caribe and Royal Solaris and it is hard to know about and show all of the restaurants and facilities in both resorts without a prior visit or two. We have been going there as Members (Time Share Owners) for 20 years and continue to learn. I appreciate you telling people to bring US $ for tipping the hard working staff who will do their best and more to keep you happy. The staff there is terrific! For first timers, there are formal (dress code) restaurants in each hotel, yoga/pilates/fitness classes on the beach and in the pool every day, a fitness guy in the gym to assist you. Bogavante (Caribe side overlooking the beach) is open for lunch and dinner and it gets the most votes for the view and tasty meals without the fuss of dressing up. Hope you visit again and are willing to do more of your excellent videos!
TYVM! I research places before I go and and it's difficult to get a (real feel of a place) sometimes if you've never been there before. I tried to show as much as I could in the video of things people might be interested in. I hope it continues to help inform people :)
Does this resort have childrens club, playground with slides and swings, also does this have adults waterslides and 4 years old waterslides. We are a vegetarian and don't know exactly which resort to go to as being a vegetarian. We want to know is the peso the best currency to use there and could you also use your credit card for excersions and does the hotel organise trips like to see chichen itza.
I think they have some kids areas. Pesos are fine. But most places take credit cards at hotels. I'm sure there's vegetarian options but I can't say what all your options would be since I'm not. Hope you have a great vaca!
Hey and good day! I am planning our Annual Anniversary Vacation...Usually we go on a cruise but looking like that's not happening this year. Could you tell me the Beds are they Queen or King? I have looked at the site and it shows Deluxe Double. Oh and enjoyed the video tour.
Thanks I appreciate it! I'd say our bed was like a king if my memory serves me correctly. The bed was big enough and fairly comfortable. Room was pretty clean too. We always found something to eat and drink and the ocean waves were fun! Deff no cruises for me no way! If you go stay safe and have a great time!
Hi. From what I saw when I went I didn't see and water sport rental equipment and such. The waves were fun at this area so if they had anything boogie boards would be appropriate but I didn't look much as I was there only 1 day. We had room service for breakfast and it was decent. Most of the resorts in cancun area have on site testing and if not can arrange a test. As far as the Caribe please check their website or send them an email to verify because things change dynamically during Covid and I would double check. I liked it at this resort. Wouldn't say the food was super but it was decent. Hope you have a great time!
This is an All-inclusive resort. Breakfast, lunch and dinner and drinks. Some food items can be picked up A La Carte outside around the pools and lounging areas. Spa services are extra and not included. As far as entertainment goes, sometimes at night they put on shows that are free for you to enjoy. Thanks for commenting.
Wipe down everything, bring masks, and just try and relax and enjoy the sun and ocean. Times are tough and stressful for everyone right now, be nice to flight crews and hotel staff. I hope you have an awesome and stress free trip!
Thanks! Perhaps get up really early and drive to see a cenote in Tulum? There's also Mayan ruins in Tulum and Cancun if your into that sort of thing. You could also do Zip lining, or ATV tours for more adventurous stuff. Good luck, have fun and stay safe!
We booked and used CARM transportation ahead of time. They had a sign outside the airport and picked us up in a new van and brought us right to our hotel. I Highly recommended them as this way you wont get a shady company or fight over prices with another company or taxi. Also we didn't share the van with anyone else! Not sure if you will but just what happened to us. I don't think the hotel has a free shuttle. Also: I didn't see any convenience stores close. We did walk down to the main grocery store and that took about 15 minutes walking.
We’re here now and I must say while the accommodations are great the food is terrible and they DO NOT make the covid test policy clear at all. The pools are great and the employees, room service and cleaning are outstanding. I give it 3 stars.
That's usually for double occupancy. That's what we paid during the christmas vaca time period, you could get it cheaper. Shop around. DOn't go with a cheap site, ,use the hotel or hotels .com because I saw some people who didn't and went through a cheap website and it didn't include some things. ALL I know is they were charged more when they checked in :(
I thought the 2 resorts wrist bands were the same, but things could have changed and I wouldn't chance it. Plus most of the big restaurants need reservations so it probably wont work. However I did get food and drinks from the outside of the pool areas from both resorts and had no issues. I did however tip each time idk if that helped me but regardless I feel that the staff worked hard here so a few dollars went a long way.
LA PALAPITA Is the Japanese restaurant name. It looks like its only included with the royal-solaris-cancun, hotel booking. I'm not 100% sure it's included with the GR Caribe. You will have to Double check their website and your booking as to if it's included or not to be sure ;)
It's a hotel. It has some security and it's not that easy to get to the beach etc from the main road through the hotel etc. but not a gated community per say IMHO.
