Ice Fishing BURBOT!!- AWESOME Sonar Footage/Tips/Tricks

Another day in the books, Myself and my camera guy @adventurecast9072 Went back to lake nipissing in hopes of getting into some awesome burbot fishing. Its pre spawn and the burbot are cruising those depths and feeding heavily at night. Thank you for viewing and i hope you enjoy this video as much as i had making it.

Lakes been slow lately haven’t seen much out on the lake . We tried out by the goose with very little luck . Last night we headed out from callander bay just a little ways from the village and caught 2 tiny perch and 1 walleye .

Ya eh, I find when that big snow cover comes in then fushing slows down, I’d try going little shallower 20ft or so, little more visibility since light can penetrate better in shallower water.

I use a pike jaw spreader to deal with unhooking, makes a good handle when dealing with them . Nice fish !

When you tossed up the bottom contour map with the red dots and the shallow water purple hump. What does the R markers stand for?

Nice nice you'll definitely run into some burbs at night, pound bottom at night and pay attention to your sonar they hug bottom very good
