Wearing the Open EarRing as I write this. These are the most comfortable earbuds I’ve ever owned. Took back the Soundcore Aerofit 2 and the Soundcore C40i. Better sound and especially much better comfort than the C40i because of the design. I’m getting another off the Open EarRing to have one for home and for work.
Yep, I just ordered another set. No sense transporting them back and forth. Every year I send out buds for Christmas presents. Last year it was the Tozo Opens. This year it's the rings for sure.
Great video. Fantastic comparison for two very good open style affordable Tozo units. I was just thinking someone should compare these because honestly they're in a league by themselves for the price for performance opens. I have both and agree with your take. Generally feel the rings sound sharper and the clarity and sound stage are better. I've switched to the rings for work and can go all day with no fatigue or marks on the ear. Now if you have larger size ears it's probably better to go with the wrap around style of the opens because the rings aren't adjustable and will dent the lobe in a little and also won't line up properly with the ear hole which could diminish sound quality. Not sure about the last part though
I wear glasses so did not try the Tozo "over-ears" but I really liked the sound of the Tozo Open EarRings. Once tweaked the EQ I felt they were better than Huawei FreeClips, as much bass as the Bose Ultra Open, and I felt slightly better sound than the C40i's That being said I need some good Bluetooth and easy to sync and use for work calls and the Tozo Open EarRings were sadly not as good as the pricier options. They would unpair, one bud would unpair, or hang up my calls randomly. Great sound but not for networking in the job for me. My pick is the C40i's
*have owned Huawei FreeClips Bose Ultra Open C40i Tozo Open EarRings My keepers are the C40i If it was just for music, the Bose/Tozos would get the nod. I felt the Tozos could easily get louder than the others without cutting bass
I just got the earrings and have used them all day at work for the last week. Fortunately I was lucky and my pair hasn't had any issues with dropped calls or single cut outs. When it comes to budget buds you're definitely going to get some lemons and it's best to return immediately and try another set.
