I’ve been saying this for years! In northern Alberta, I see so many parents take their kid to a super league team because they fear next years local team won’t be any good. Rather than teach they’re kid to deal with and live through some adversity. And guess what? They’re back in a year or 2 because little Johnny was getting the ice time or puck touches in a game that they were used to. Which when you think about it, they still didn’t learn how to deal and live with adversity! Keep the videos coming guys! You’re hitting the nail on the head.
Last year my son was the standout player on his team, almost all losses, and parents were very jealous. He got a hard time from some of his coaches, and other players.. the organization gave him a look to move him to AAA... but said he wasn't ready, fall tryouts he had a spot with a AAA team because someone was leaving but last minute they changed their mind and he will be in AA for another year, so we moved to a team that was demoted from AAA to AA because they lost in AAA so much, so this team will likely be one of the best AA teams with the possibility of moving up again if they can really win a lot..is this a bad idea?
