For me Samuel is memorable since I follow Pentagon and Samuel's comeback in the past has happened around the same time as their's. I know Samuel's songs aren't really a banger yet but the other songs on his album deserves a listen. I hope people aren't ignoring him just because he's a soloist. Nevertheless he has fans who do love him a lot and that's what matters most. Also yes some kpop songs are generic. I hope Samuel can find his own colors and release his own style.

Guilherme Vieira if you're being sarcastic, you know nothing about kpop or how the industry works. Young artists, like Samuel who debuted at age 15, get so much hate. They are put in the spotlight and under heavy criticism, for stupid things like the way they looked at a fan, their tone when talking to an interviewer. They don't get as much respect because they at a young and people don't think they are good enough. They don't get to see thei families, don't get to have a normal childhood in any aspect. And especially with him being a soloist, he doesn't even have anyone else around who he really cares for. Not to mention they overwork themselves, go on very little sleep, and starve themselves. So if you don't think it's a huge suffering, you're wrong. Samuel himself became a trainee for a group when he was little, seriously he left when he was like 13, joined a duo at 14, got left and joined a survival show to try to debut again at 15. So this kids worked harder than most people have to achieve his dream just to be overlooked and hated on

He has no cancer, no aids, there are people starving out there, people that REALLY had no childhood because had to work to provide their families instead of going to school. He didn't suffer, he lives in a major city in one of the most safe and evolved countries of the world, he has everything he wants and it's the career he chose and had the privilege to get. Stop victimizing idols because they have a great life and don't have to suffer with real shit.

I grew up poor. I remember using a hole in the ground for a toilet, wearing clothes that were 3 sizes too small, sharing bathwater with 4 other people, and my mom lying that she wasn't hungry because there wasn't enough food for all of us to eat that night. I went partially deaf in one ear for about 5 years because of scar tissue from an ear infection that my parents couldn't afford medical care for. I started using my birthday money from my grandma to buy my clothes and toiletries by the time I was 12 because it took some of the burden off my parents for me to do so. Other kids spend their birthday money on CDs and toys and I spent what little I got on shampoo and a shirt without holes in it. And you know what? I had a happy childhood and those things didn't bother me. What really hurt, what deeply tormented me in my life was the emotional trials of being a teenager. The pressure, the deep stabbing loneliness even in the middle of a crowd, the uncertainty, the always feeling like I had to prove myself. I would tell you that going to bed feeling lonely or not good enough can hurt more than going to bed with an empty stomach.
Also, I had brain cancer as a child but did not die. My mom died of cancer. She suffered for 11 years. We watched her shrivel up and die slowly until all that was recognizable were her beautiful eyes. Until she forgot who she was and who everyone around her was and all that was left was screaming in constant pain. She suffered physically and emotionally more than anyone I've ever seen, so I'm in no way discounting her suffering or the suffering of anyone else with a terminal illness. I'm saying that each person suffers in their own way and nobody should have their pain dismissed because you see it as less than another kind of pain. Have compassion for everyone's trials, because everyone is suffering somehow and compassion is the difference between life and death for some. Compassion is shown by those who are unselfish enough to recognize pain in others even when it doesn't look like their own pain or a widely-accepted pain like cancer. Having compassion doesn't lessen the legitimacy of others with perceivably "worse" pains, but it does make the one in pain a little more comforted, and the one having compassion a little more human. Being a teenager comes with a lot of emotional torment as you try to fight for your place in the world and stand up for who you are, and being rich or well fed or popular doesn't lessen that emotional torment one bit.

I'm really impressed, I thought this was going to be something like Sixteen but this one actually has such a deep meaning. The lyrics are way too strong and sounds like somebody is really struggling. Its so sad yet so upbeat, pretty much the type of music Brave works with, sad lyrics, upbeat song. I hope this does well even though it was released along with big names out there coming back. This teenager is growing up so fast and I'm proud of his music and his persona evolution through a short amount of time.

The teenage years are really hard.
It's really stressful and sometimes painful, you're old enough to understand but too young to be able to do something, people won't take you seriously, when you're lonely and struggling, adults will see your suffering as something small and will ignore it, because you're a kid, how much could you be suffering?
I went through a really bad depression and I still struggling with anxiety but my parents never took me seriously.
My life was meaningless, I had no one, every day was completely dark and cold to me, but when I finally had the courage to reach to my parents to ask for help, they said I was overreacting, that I was too young, why would I be suffering for?, that I was trying to be cool and that Internet had influenced me to make me believe I had depression when in fact "I was just lazy".
I was really suffering but not even my own mother believed me or was there for me, just because I was a teenager.
