Quote:
"We suffer more often in imagination than in reality." - Seneca
Explanation:
The Stoic philosopher Seneca highlights our tendency to create anxiety and distress through anticipation. Humans often fear potential negative outcomes, letting their imagination amplify these fears, leading to unnecessary suffering. Stoicism teaches us to focus on the present moment and what is within our control, instead of worrying about uncertainties.
Actionable Item:
Identify a fear or worry that is causing you stress. Distinguish between what's within your control and what's not. Focus on actionable steps you can take now, and try to release the anxiety associated with what you cannot control.
Journaling Prompt:
Write about a recent scenario where you worried excessively about something that didn't happen or wasn't as severe as you'd imagined. What strategies can you use to manage such worries in the future?
Unleash the wisdom of Stoicism with "Harnessing the Power of Now", a guided meditation for transcendence. Inspired by Epictetus' teachings, this meditative journey guides you towards embracing the present moment and accepting life as it unfolds. Discover the art of surrendering control over the future, experiencing transcendence in the beauty of the now.

Thank you so much for your guidance. I struggle with Major Depressive disorder and PTSD. This has been a challenging year. I found your channel and I am so glad. I am in need of staying in the present and this has helped me. Thank you
This vibration brought up a memory that I forgot about. I would lay on my bed and stare/listen to the ceiling fan when I was little. I didn’t know I was transcending, just that I was oddly calm after.
My gratitude was with myself today. I needed the feeling of self-companionship. Thanks 💙 🎉
❤️❤️
Thanks Raphael its a wonderful meditation
We suffer more in imagination because the imaginary pain is ongoing, kept in our mind everyday, all day long; and, we are more aware of the pain and less aware of life around us - which could be better, is always changing but we don't notice because we are imagining and reimaging the pain of the far past
❤️
Really love these meditations, so calming and peaceful, everything just melts away and is replaced by bliss. Thank you Raphael ❤

❤ love this meditation
I experience synchronicity a lot lately with these. Many changes at work giving my imagination a work out. AH SO 🧘♂️
❤️❤️
Nice!
Beautiful. It's so true what you say. As the Buddhist say "we are not out mind" . I have been an overthinker meditation helps yours definitely do. I know how to bring myself back. Meditation works for me if my mind gets stressy. X ❤️✨✨🙏
❤️❤️
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
Love how much love and effort you out into these meditation. You explain so clearly, your voice is so soothing and helps calm the body and soul and it makes the process natural. Transcendental meditation has been a game changer for me because Ive tried the other types of meditations but this easy and I can tell it works, how much easy can it get to just sit and feel present with these vibrations?❤ My goal is to meditate with your videos daily
It makes me feel healthier alert and alive

Hi Raph
Hi! ❤️
True story
❤
All I can hear is one way one way over and over. I like the others I’ve heard

❤️
I have 100% made my life worse by imagining something. Thank you for that.
❤️
In Dale Carnegie’s book, quit worrying and start living, he talks much about this using examples from life. I guess there’s nothing new under the sun.
90% of the things you think are going to happen never happen.

Talking so much advertising

Thank you ❤
