Hands down THE best dungeon in Chrono Trigger! The atmosphere, the pending danger of Zeal and Lavos' Beckoning and the fact this theme doesn't stop playing through the battles. Surely my favorite dungeon/battle theme in Chrono Trigger, my absolute favorite RPG on the SNES/Super Famicom. That's saying alot since Final Fantasy VI is just a slight notch below it!
And that's why he either got raptured or the CIA got to him like they did to the Kennedy's putting them out of the picture to get the Vietnam war on steroids. Lyndon Johnson is the definition of creep.
I would love to see a modern rendition of this game with the classic turn based RPG part to it. Updated visuals and of course, all the incredible music you made!
Can understand why you might like it, but Chrono Trigger was a one-off masterpiece and the art design (classic Toriyama that it is) is an integral piece to it. I really doubt that a modern remake would even come close to matching the original. The DS Remake has some interesting new content, but...I'm not a purist. I play it, I enjoy it, and I use the new equipment. It's not really up to the same standards as the original game though.

I cant help but feel that you just used the original track and just overlapped a couple of things of your own.
There is not a single sound from the original track in this. It's all Kontakt librairies plus an Arturia synth.
Time Rock Orchestra well then good job in making it sound very much like the snes version.
That's what I like about these, they're refreshed rather than remixed
