Definitely be careful when buying Bratz. A lot of scalpers sell them for insane amounts when they’re not really worth that much.

There’s something so calming about restoring and restyling dolls
Funnily enough, there are higher quality Polypropylene doll hair in the market. For example, G3 Cleo has high quality Poly, while Clawdeen has the worst quality. Flat ironing poly does help but do not touch it after you do. It can get all frizzy super easily 😭
In 2008-2014 MGA went through a rough time some of which was a lawsuit with Mattel so they had to use poly/cheap nylon

The doll with the loose neck put a rubber band around the peg take off the head ans wrap the rubber band around and you have to boils wash her hair to get the kinks out again
( late comment here but anyway ) What I normally do for kinks if I ain’t got the time for a boil wash is get the hair wet and straighten it that way

I bought a bundle with a bunch of rina heads and got the exact same head games Meygan for my best friend. I tackled her hair it took a few days on an off (but that because I’m lazy and have health issues) but it can be done. Her hair turned out pretty good without any kinks just some waviness at the bottom, so I’d say give her some more tlc, lots of conditioner and boiling and she’ll be absolutely beautiful
There are different grades of poly, so Meygans is probably really high grade. If the other Mayan is Head gamez, that’s why her head is loose, they have different pegs cause the point of the line was to switch their heads to be different characters or have different styles.
I think it might depend on how well the dolls are taken care of. I have a doll Kina that was horrible to work with hair wise. I asked on Reddit and everyone told me it was poly. Idk I’m not an expert. I wish there was a guide to see what hair type each doll was manufactured with but I know that’s asking too much. Lol

1:52 I was so obsessed with bratz that for every birthday and Christmas I got like 5 no joke looking through the papers they ALWAYS came with was and still is so nostalgic it's insane. Some of them came with posters or booklets of other sets it was awesome

I’m a little late to watching this video but I just realized that the prices are you paid for these doors are really high please always change your settings on Mercari to most recent listings on Bratz because people tend to buy them if they’re cheaper. And second I really love the fact that you really put your energy towards fixing these dolls up. As a kid, I had the head games dolls. They came in a pack and you could swap their heads out on the same body and change their clothes and stuff while back I didn’t notice that my head games Megan hair did not straighten at all so I wouldn’t really bother to try again because it’s not gonna do anything if anything it might even make it curl back or just look very uneven, and just wavy
I would love, if not a tutorial, a video where you show us all the different tools and soaps you use and what they are good for. I don't get a lot of info by just watching someone do it because I don't know the reasoning!
also what would work on the different doll hair materials?
Is there anything specific you would like to know? As far as the soap, I just use regular basic hand soap just because it easily accessible.

Bratz are beautiful dolls. Don’t feed on scalpers…go to thrift stores or flea markets…you will find them you can rescue them to restore their formal glory.
I have over 40 Bratz I found are still waiting for their bath. Just moved and working on my new doll room really takes forever.

@@rodneyrainbow check on flea markets in your area. Value Village…American Thrift stores….any antique vintage stores. I recently found 7 Bratz with bunch of shoes and clothes all under 65.00 at antique store. Super stoked! Lol

I think that Meygan has a low quality nylon.. poly starts curling up and turns into a hairball. Meygan hair even without wash or anything was pretty straight
Like your fingers were able to go through her hair when you opened her, you wouldn't be able to do that with poly.

this video is two months old but I think the head gamez heads are more wobbly due to the fact that there body’s are made so the head pops off and on easily and have seen others had the same issue with their head gamez dolls but did you buy a regular bratz body with normal looking “anchor” neck peg maybe it would not be so wobbly!
The poly hair probably looks good on the shelf, but playing with it and combing it and all just isn't it. Like I could play with saran hair all day its so satisfying yk- do that with poly and I'll have a tumbleweed.

I think the reason people say poly is the worst is because usually kids are pretty rough on their dolls and it would get messy faster but when you take good care of them it doest get as bad

I'm buy a rare bratz from welcome to fabulous bratz but her hair was a Mess so i reroot her... and pummm she looks amazing!!!... it was tiana... i put her kanekalon hair... it was 6 or 7$ in my country😂😅 i buy anothers in ebay (10$to 17$) meygan, sasha, dana, yazmin... cloe came with a bratz carry bag... i love this dolls a lot...❤

It was a later slumber party doll not from the original, they made them all have “sleepy” eyes and they all had satin sets jades was pink with black lace and her robe was black with pink polka dots (her robe was cheap but cute) they also came with like boudoir accessories my favorite piece was the face power cause it had cute little fuzzy powder balls so you pretend to powder their faces
