A lot of cabins appear to be pet friendly, but many of them are further from the city and or they look out dated and some have very bad reviews! We're looking forward to more pet friendly content. We have two small senior dogs that travel with us and require a stroller. So, we love pet friendly places.

Great video. We live local (about 4o minutes north) and we had just been down there a week ago. I had no idea this location was being transformed! I love it, as I lived through the era!! We will for sure have to check this out.
I was sad to see the after 5 for adults only swimming pool. Typically that is when we go swimming as a family. This will probably not be a place we will stay, but it is a cool looking hotel. Thanks for doing all these videos.
Great video Ryan! Definitely on our list of places to stay when we travel to our second home, The Great Smoky Mountains! I love that they went with the 50’s and 60’s Mid Century Modern theme/decor! I’ve always been a huge fan of the MCM design and architecture.
Wow! I love the remodel/re-theming of this hotel, especially the adults only after 5pm pool rule! While I love that rule since I am a childless adult, I feel like they'll get several complaints from families with children, especially during the summer heat coming back from Dollywood or other PF activities they've done during the day or after dinner and were looking for a way for their kids/whole family to cool off in the evening.
We hope this videos helps others determine if it’s the right fit for them, or those with kids might enjoy a different location in Pigeon Forge Tennessee!
Interesting & very different! Vivian loves any decor that steps back in time. Our home is an antique shop😳! And right in the heart of things in Pigeon Forge☺️.
Great video as always and ya’ll are the dearest together. The Wayback looks really fun. I know that for families a pool on a summer vacation is a big draw so I do understand that it would be disappointing about the pool however there are countless great places to stay all throughout the area that could accommodate that for families whereas those families with a 20 something kiddo it would be a nice change to have the adult only hours for a bit of a more relaxing pool time. We would enjoy less chaos and likely a little less chance of having someone jump in right next to ya as you just try to relax in the water….maybe lol. All that to say I can see both sides of the pool situation. I like the idea but it’s probably not gonna sit well with plenty of people

We stayed there when it was island drive lodge not the worst but def not best place we stayed. Glad to see the remodel as it’s prime location

My husband noticed there are no microwaves. We didn't have one this past weekend at our hotel either. Wonder if they are getting away from them?
Perhaps, we always do 2-3 bedrooms with full kitchens so it’s hard for us to notice if that is the trend.
I didn't watch the entire video but no one in the comments mentioned that is a Marriott Tribute hotel, if that matters to anyone.

The rooms are sweet. Families wont be very happy telling their kids they can't swim after 5
