Good job rappler! I wonder why the other major news channels didn't give emphasis on this matter. The conviction sent a strong message that the quadcom is serious in what it's doing.

This is the message for ALL politicians, law makers and Government officials:
When someone breaks the rules, what do you do? Enforce the policy, issue a slap on the wrist or look the other way? if you are trying to keep peace surely you will put a blind eye.
Leniency inherently involves rule-breaking or rule-bending, because it involves not holding a person accountable for their misconduct and that is what generates reactions of guilt and exhaustion
On the one hand, you’re doing good for somebody, but at the same time, you’re not following the rules
They’re there to protect people. They’re there to create standards. So, bending them makes people feel like they’re doing something wrong.
Misconduct can be a large financial cost for the Government and not addressing it can create an even larger problem, norms that promote unethical behavior which in time became the culture of corruption. So, just watch South Korea on how dedicated they are that it did not take long to impeach their President because of his wrongdoing and their family corruption issue. That is what the People in the Government should imitate if they want the Philippines to improve and lift the quality of people's lives. Shame that these politicians and lawmakers only concern about their political ambition.

Is there something that the Duterte's holding againts marcos jr. that makes him afraid to go on the impeachment againts sara duterte? A secret that he does not want to be revealed and blown out of proportion perhaps?
