Just keep them on, be careful going down stairs. Todd I hear ya, I've had bad back for yrs, it sucks when it goes out. I can't get any chiropractor adjustments any longer, it just doesn't work, massage therapy is my source now, but that didn't help this last time it's mostly my muscles.
OOOh Old Marcel Irons !!! Them are so cool. They still make them but.... they dont look like that anymore. :D Great Find !!! I love the fishees to hang in your cabin !! Its always cool finding stuff like that. I might have something you want to add.... Its a Cast Iron Fish bone with hooks for keys. Its 100% CI, even the hooks ! Let me know if your interested and i can ship it to you. I have two ! :) Got them at an antique store. Got one for Walt, but he didnt care much for it... so..... Yeah.
Another great weekend in review. You've got tons done. The meatloaf sounds and looked amazing. I always put onions, celery, and carrots in mine, I also add mushrooms. Love the old curling irons, neat find. The pillows are so cute, love the fishes for the cabin. Also love the color choices for the kitchen and dining room. I think it will make the chimney you white washed pop.
Wish I had an attic and basement. The only storage space is closets and they are full of clothing. Don't even have much kitchen space. Sigh. Maybe (when I get rich, lol) I'll tunnel under the house for a root cellar!
I just found your channel yesterday thru another channel "life goes north" she mentioned a jar of honey u sent her and I had to check u out. I cant stop watching...I've binged watched for almost 24 hours now. I am totally fascinated by what u guys are doing and I am really enjoying your videos!
I LOOOOOOVE the unpaper towels! We've been using them almost exclusively since 2008. I put a polyresin snap on the corners so they stay rolled neatly, etc. Great job!
I do love your weekend in reviews. Your meat loaf looked really good.. I always like to see what your up to, you are always so busy.. Todd early Happy Birthday. Rachel from the looks of your to do list your going to be plenty busy!!
I've been wearing bi-focals since high school. For I'm very near sighted. I don't need as strong of a lens for reading and up close work. (Btw, I'm 54.) The transition lenses take a little getting used to. The baby blankets you were referring to are called : "receiving blankets". Great idea.
Looks like we have the same curling irons, found mine in the attic. I had perfect vision until that dreaded vision age of 40. Started with off rack reading glasses - for about seven years, then, distance also became a problem. Transition lenses are great if they are properly aligned. The technician should measure and mark so they're ground correctly.
So you was able to make two whole Un-Paper towel rolls with TWO RECEIVING Blankets? that is pretty awesome ! You can find lots of them at Yard sales also in the summer, so that is something to look out for. They do have them a lot at the thrift stores. Thank you for the tip ! Also... is there a certain way you roll them? I could for sure use them ! With this tribe i got here. whew.
It's going to be fun to see what things look like when you paint. I have a question where did you get your vacuum sealer? I had the kind of vacuum sealer that you seal bags with but mine broke so I'm looking for how people seal their jars. Do you seal just jars or do you ever use bags
Our college graduate is living with us till this spring and our baby girl is a senior in high school. The rest if the children are either out on their own or still in college.
Do not use those curling irons if you are Caucasian, My friend and I did that when we were very young in primary school. She was African American, and well, she put a ton of lard in my hair, and used one of those, that they kept on the kitchen stove, which was gas. Needless to say I lost some hair, and took over a week to get the lard out of my hair, Those do not go with white peoples hair. Hot irons. Just a heads up. But those will look awesome as decoration for the bathroom. Happy early birthday Tod.
Can't help you with glasses. I was born cross eyed (genetic) and have crazy vision. I tried bifocals once, never again. Got the worse migraine in the universe within a nano second of putting the glasses on. Plus I see octogons rotating clockwise. I just have to have different glasses for different needs.
You two are such great motivators! You get so much accomplished in a short time. That breakfast looks so delicious! I pray that your back heals quickly. There are some great exercises just for strengthening the muscles around the spine on “Physical Therapy Video” channel on TH-cam. Blessings...
Happy Birthday 🎂🎈🎁🎊🎉 Todd have a wonderful time
Happy Birthday Todd
♥
I do the unpaved towels and family wipes too. Saving $$$ is ok with me
I’m wearing progressive glasses 👓 and it will take a little to get use to them
Unpaved towels cool idea.
Those pillows are so cute!!!!!
Aren't they! My new porch pillows, I'm a sucker for TSC decorations
Happiest of birthday blessings to you.

The old people stuff got me hooked lolol. Just had to get glasses for the first time last week.
Lol, some of this aging stuff is for the birds
Happy Birthday Todd!! Hope caught all kinds of fish and enjoyed time with father!!

Yes once it all comes together it's going to be nice. Funny thing about these weekends in review is it makes us do stuff, lol.
@@1870s Yes, old people stuff, ha!

Always hold onto a railing when coming downstairs.!

I know the feeling, my first home only had closets too. But the good thing is it certainly helped keep the "stuff" down to a minimum.

I may need to do that I just wanted to try simplest method first. Here's to never buying paper towels again!!

Haha yes I remembered the term, receiving, the next morning. Been a long time since I've"received" a baby.
Transition lenses are glasses that turn dark like sunglasses in the sun. Are u talking about getting bifocals?
Yes that's what I meant I ended up with progressive lenses
Why do you need one pair of lenses instead of stronger reading glasses and another for distance? I would never get tranision glasses.
Why would you never get Transitions Lenses?
I would be switching back and forth all day long
We finished packing up our Christmas decor this weekend too. Happy Birthday have a safe trip.
Aren't the blankets ca lled Receiving Blankets?
Yes I remembered the term the next morning
Both of you are so cute
Lol

Hmm they only seemed to take one measurement, so now I'm nervous
Love this guys!
Thanks for the recap! That remodel should be awesome. I could go for some of those blueberry muffins right now.😁👍
They were yummy
A fun video, thanks

I used 4 receiving blankets total
Rachel I’ve had to get those transition lenses only they call them something else. They say it’s like a honeycomb and they are great.

We purchased it off Amazon. And yes we use the reusable vacuum seal bags as well
@@1870s thank you. Does it work with vacuum sealing bags too?
Recognize the curling iron, I have one also. Do you have children at home?

Oh my that's terrible. Only decoration here

Well I have the glasses not too bad, just adjusting to having to turn and tilt my head to see through the different spectrums
