Thank you, Vega. I love your theme and love what you are doing as a Spring Boot Advocate. I am a big fan of Spring Boot and use it a lot in my daily work. Hope to see your videos more

Great video, i think it will be useful if you can make more of these - for example what other tools do you use in your daily work or outside of work, how do you use them, etc.
    Thanks a lot Dan!

@DavVega you have quickly become my favorite channel on all of youtube. And I watch a lot of TH-cam lol
Currently working on watching through spring office hours, great content there as well!
I know IDEs aren't your bread and butter, but I would absolutely love to see a good overview on keyboard shortcuts (developing with as little mouse use as possible). I've seen cheat sheets online for intellij, but for some reason they don't always work for me. Be great if someone as well spoken as you could run through some of the more popular shortcuts like selecting a word or selecting all occurrences, multiline editing etc.
Keep it up and thanks for all the great content!

Nice video 🎉 one question always wanted to ask, how do you manage to read programming books in a daily routine. Because I see you complete many books by now, so wats your routine and how do you read and take max out of the book content so you don’t forget? Could you pls share? And bonus, list of must read books for spring developers also helps!!

Hey Dan, I have been watching your videos over the past few weeks and I found your Spring Security tutorials to be completely unparalleled. Specifically, your JWT implementation using OAuth2ResourceServer, it may legitimately be the video of it’s kind on this platform.
As someone who has a passion for Java/Spring but no professional experience or CS degree, at what point of my self learning should I seriously consider applying for dev positions? I am comfortable with core Java and the Spring Boot framework but I feel I will continue to learn on my own instead of applying to a position where I may be a reasonable candidate at the right place. Serious imposter syndrome. Any advice would be huge.
    Thanks

simply stop, find a entry level job and you will probably be some of the more experienced among the new ones. i believe that your fisrt job in the area is to learn anyway so you cant wait till you know or have studied everything

How do i see documentation on hover and auto complete like yours? Classes and annotations do not allow me to view source documentation (i'm not using paid version of IntelliJ). Thanks for the great content!

Usually if you hold control and then click on something like a class name it will take you to the source.

Great video, I'm not a big fan of the new ui, it looks like VS code to me and I don't like vs code...
