I have a question. If anyone can answer. Using a humidifier for the first time. I removed the tank while moving it to another room and there was water in the base unit. I believe it is normal as it takes water from tank and uses that to convert into mist. Not sure though and thinking this could be a leak? It’d be great if someone can guide me
Do you have to wait until it's empty to refill it? Like, if I want to add more before going to bed, but the tank isn't empty yet, can I detach the tank without spilling everywhere?
Ty so much. your instructions were clear, nice and slow. Keep doing your videos just like that. Ty😄👍
david this was so helpful, thank you so much
Thank you very much! 🙏👍🙂
Ty, that was very helpful!
I have Crane bottom fill. I was about to throw it out but I'll keep it for my plants.
thank you it helped a lot
Thanks for the video. The directions on these things tend to suck.
Thank you!

for mine, there's a valve that closes up when I pull the tank out, so water doesn't spill out.
@@davidsdetaileddiscussions Thank you!
i gotta ask. does it matter how long i run it? i read 12 hours or 2 days after that bacteria can form.
the water usually runs out in a few hours so you can't really run it continuously for 12 hours or more
@@davidsdetaileddiscussionsoh ok so i could fill it all the way up let it run and not worry about it then?
I definitely need it.
Hello, what if water ran out and its still on power? it will be spoil? or i can add water any time?
you can just add water. when it runs out of water, it turns off
Thank you 👍👍
@@davidsdetaileddiscussions hello
Can i use tap water?
Only put distilled water in a humidifier unless you just like white dust . ..
You aren’t supposed to use tap water in the humidifier. It’s supposed to be purified water. Many websites explain why.
Get the Prue water your drink, that's healthy for your breathing
I thought you only use distilled water
distilled water is probably better. using tap water, minerals will eventually accumulate to the point that the humidifier may no longer work.
@@davidsdetaileddiscussions I use Brita water. It's filtered. Using tap water is just lazy.
I also have demineralization cartridges.
I make my own distilled water and put it in my humidifiers. No minerals =no white dust
